DOME GLASS iPhone 8 Plus Screen Protector Tempered Glass Shield, [Liquid Dispersion Tech] 2.5D Full Cover, Easy Install UV Light Kit Whitestone for Apple iPhone 8+ (2017) / iPhone 7 Plus (2016)

I've installed Dome Glass on two Google Pixel II XL's and just added my company phone, an iPhone 8 plus to the fold. The first one I was completely nervous after reading all the bad reviews. But all the good reviews kept me going and wanting to try it. After watching some youtube's and the instructions several times along with a dry practice run and gave it a go and it turned out perfect. It gets easy by the time you get to your third install. A couple of tips: 1. de-dust your complete surroundings and turn of the A/C or heat to avoid drafts that may carry duts, I also used a can of air and a microfiber towel to de-dust in addition to the little cleaning cloths they provide. 2. Wear gloves since no matter how clean your hands are, oils from your skin can transfer. 3. make sure your working surface is LEVEL - my third install was on my office desk and I found out quickly it was not level but compromised during the oil centering stage by tilting the unit to one side as well as tipping to the back end. 4. Install inside and away from windows since the UV from the sun will start to crosslink the UV activated oil. I closed my blinds. 5. Do a dry run WITHOUT removing the clear plastic film on the glass. 6. Use a timer and follow to a tee. 7. do this at room temperature (around 70 degrees) since too hot or too cold will influence the oil spread rate. 8. inhale deeply and slowly let it all out, there now you are ready!

The best screen protector ever. 'Nuff said... but you have to be temperamentally suited to install it. Be sure to have plenty of time and a very steady, solid and level platform to work on - and if you're not absolutely sure, place your phone on the surface and put one drop on water in the center of the screen. If the water droplet does anything other than just sit exactly where you put it, find another work space. Then, put your patience hat on and read the instructions - AND look at several of the installation videos online. Take your time and work carefully & you will have one of the best installed screen protectors on the market; totally smooth, no distortion or bubbles, and touch sensitivity as if it wasn't there at all. It took me 20 minutes and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

UPDATE: Company offers a limited lifetime warranty that costs you between $16-20 to warranty and you have to send in your old one so you're out a protector till the new one comes in. That's ridiculous. If you have to pay for the replacement of a defective product it's not a warranty. Would advise to look elsewhere for a protector, the headaches are not worth it at these prices.Pros:Easy to install one you watch the videos and get the idea and looks great.Clarity is everything that was advertised. Easy to forget you have a protector on.Cons:Very expensive for a screen protector.Lifts along the edges easily. Mine lifted along the left edge within days.Cracks VERY easily. Mine has already shattered and is less than a month old. Phone was dropped maybe once and has a full bumper case on it.I like the protector but at this price I absolutely would not buy it twice. Would be amazing at half the price.

the installation was a kind of a pain. very picky on how its done so you don't get bubbles. unfortunately I wasn't successful in installing it without any bubbles. However, the bubbles I do have are pretty small and aren't really that noticeable. Be aware tho that I bought another of this style of glass for an S8 and the installation for that one was a NIGHTMARE! I ended up using both bottles of glue that came with that one and the spare bottle that came with this one trying to get it put on OK and STILL ended up with small bubbles under the glass. I give it 4 or 5 stars for the likely protection that it gives once you get it installed but 2 stars for the actual ease of the process of getting it installed in the first place. And to charge almost as much for a replacement kit as the original is ridiculous when all you need for a replacement is the glass and glue. the fixture and the curing light is completely re-usable. there's no way the glass and glue makes up the vast majority of the cost of this kit.

The product seems to be of high quality, i really liked the packaging it came in. Installation was a pain however, i followed directions exactly and ended up with air bubbles. I tried a second time using the extra adhesive provided and still ended up with a large bubble in the middle, i was able to kind of push it off to the side but not completely.After about 3 days i noticed the protector started lifting off all around my phone, i figured i could deal with it because it was minor but now it's been roughly 2 weeks since installation and a significant amount of the protector is separating.Fortunately i got this in sale during prime day because i would never suggest anyone buying this, especially not at the full price listed.

Perfect fit. This is the third one I have purchased for the family phones. Its not cheap but either are the phones, you get waht you pay for. I tried all the rest. Now I have the best. Be sure there is not dirt or bubbles (if you can follow directions there wont be) Once the glue is cured its there. Don't cure it and bitch about a bubble. Again follow the ditections that come w the kit and watch the video DOME has. Not these other idiots on You Tube. You will NOT be sorry.

Received the kit. Opened it and found it was missing the sticker that protects the speaker and the cotton pieces that go on the sides to absorb the excess glue. Cannot use the product without at least the sticker that protects my iPhone speaker. Could only reach customer service via email and have to wait up to two days for a response. Now my choice is to not use my phone or use it and leave it unprotected.

Awesome screen protector for the iPhone X. Just recently it broke and spidered without warning, something must have caught its edge in my pocket. But it easily came off. I haven’t ordered it yet, but the website states I can get a free protector sent for $12 shipping.

As the title of my review states, this screen protector is simply amazing. I've had my iPhone 8 Plus for more than half a year now. Since then, I've gone through several glass screen protectors from different sellers on Amazon. They've all been decent but I've always found something that I didn't like about them. I finally decided to pull the trigger on this one after watching several detailed YouTube videos on how to install it. It's a little pricey so I was very reluctant to do so but the reviews that I have seen on this product reassured me that this would be worth it. I guess I'm trying to do the same thing for those who are also on the fence with this product. The installation process was extremely frustrating and stressful but only because of my oversight. It had nothing to do with the manufacturer. In hindsight, this product is wonderful and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to take good care of their phone. Just make sure that Whitestone carries one for the make and model of your device.During the installation process, I thought I had followed the instructions very carefully. Unfortunately, I missed one important step. Once you have released the adhesive onto the phone screen and have positioned the glass screen protector over the liquid, you are prompted to begin the "tilting process". The purpose of this process is to allow you to manipulate the position of the liquid to where the manufacturer wants you to release the screen (as indicated by the arrows on the plastic mould). Once you have done so, simply release the glass screen protector and allow it to naturally fall into place. The adhesive will naturally run in all directions and disperse itself across the surface of the screen. This process should take approximately one full minute to complete. You will know if you have done it correctly if your screen becomes one consistent shade of black. If you see mostly black and spots of a lighter shade, this may be because there is no adhesive between your glass screen protector and phone screen. That's what happened to me.I did not relocate the liquid to the designated area and prematurely released the glass screen protector onto the phone screen. As a result, the liquid adhesive did not disperse properly, leaving areas that were clearly untouched by the liquid. I patiently waited until the full minute was up but the adhesive did not fully cover the phone screen. I made the mistake of physically repositioning the glass screen protector in hopes of moving the adhesive to where I needed it to be but I created an absolute mess as the adhesive started to spill over the edges of my phone. I went into a panic state because I thought I had wasted $60.Ultimately I had to take off the screen protector off the start the entire process from scratch. I wiped off the adhesive off my phone screen and cleaned it off with one of the provided alcohol wipes. I rinsed off the liquid adhesive from my glass screen protector and dried it off with one of the provided microfiber cloths. I used another alcohol wipe to clean off the glass screen protector and once again dried it off with the microfiber cloth. I restarted the process from scratch and made sure to move the liquid down to the designated arrow.

I’ll admit that I was very excited about this product after doing a lot of research. Unfortunately, the UV light was broken, USB end would not enter the port. A pretty important piece to be broken.Now have glue all over the sides of my phone as I can only assume because application did not cure properly.

Probably the best screen protector. Easy to apply, hardest part was getting all the dust off the phone.
