Works for my needs
It's a StarTech cable so it works - and works for my needs. Not really much to say about this, the usual StarTech quality.

Very handy
This product is super handy it's exactly what I needed for my hp 400 g3 basically I didn't have the original power supply for my pc and the original power supplies were too expensive so I bought a different hp power supply without the proprietary connection on it and bought this adapter for it and it works really well it was very hard to find an adapter like this it was so frustrating with the proprietary connection however this product was exactly what I needed and fixed my problem I'd highly recommend this product

Perfect for slim DVD drives
This worked perfectly, it let me connect up a spare slim interna laptop DVD burner and use it with my older, larger desktop PC that had regular SATA connections.

Perfect cable for slimline drives, does exactly what it needs to.
I recently built a new tiny ITX PC which needed a slimline DVD drive as the case is so small. When it arrived I was shocked to find that the cables didn't fit as they are much smaller on the back of the drive.Not being familiar with this issue I too a punt at this cable thinking if its wrong I haven't lost a lot of money, but it turned out to be the correct one and works perfectly. Plugged in the drive and it instantly span up. I have bought StarTech products before and never been disappointed and this is no exception. No issues at all. If you have a slimline drive and need smaller connectors, ignore the adapters out there and just buy this cable.I bought this item at full price so this is most definitely not a biased review. It did exactly what I needed it to for a great price so 5 stars.
