What diameter size holes need to be drilled into the wall for mounting? 10mm? 12mm?

12mm in order to use the supplied plastic rawl plug type fixings but to be honest you would be much better off buying some M8 metal wall fixings, at least for the top 2 holes then use theirs for the bottom 2 holes, that’s what I did and it is absolutely rock solid even with my 90kg weight and a 40kg punch bag
