I got this because my dog started having some incontinence issues. She sleeps on my bed every night and I don’t have the heart to kick her off because of it. Her little life is too short for that! Thankfully the issue has been resolved with medication, however, she did have an accident on it and I was amazed at how well this blanket absorbed all the liquid!! Not a single drop touched my bed underneath. I layed it flat and didn’t fold it at all. I was hesitant because it’s a thin fabric but it works well!! A bit heavy oddly enough, especially when wet. Washes in the washer and dryer just fine. It’s soft and does exactly what I needed it to!

I love this dog blanket. I use it mainly on top of my bed, over my comforter. My dog would get my comforter filthy and smelly, so I needed to look for something to put on top of my comforter to protect it. This does the trick and is thin enough that it doesn’t make me hot when I sleep. Despite how thin it is, it is SO soft. I love that it protects my bed, but is also soft so that my dog loves sleeping on it. I can’t say much about it being waterproof since my dog is potty-trained, but the blanket is wonderful for the purposes that I’m looking for.

This waterproof blanket has saved my bed several times from pet and person accidents. It washes in the machine and gently cool machine dries, and goes right back on the bed. When washing, it does need to be watched because it gets super heavy when wet and can unbalance the washer. So far, this blanket has been washed and dried 4 times, and it's still waterproof. It just gets softer each time it's washed. When it was new, the blanket was a little stiff and crinkly due to the waterproof inner part, but it quickly became soft and quiet. The blanket is comfortable, nice to sleep on or under, the thickness is good with a waffle-like texture, it's not too heavy if used as a top cover. It doesn't breathe, which is due to the waterproof layer, so it can get really warm. I am really sensitive to plastic, like what's in mattress protectors, and get heat rashes. This blanket has a nice fuzzy layer on the outside of the waterproof part, and my skin doesn't react to the blanket at all, waterproof and cozy. The blanket is a great value for the money. I liked the performance and feel of this item so much I got another one so there's a double layer down for quick pull off for wet accidents, enabling everyone to get back to sleep quickly.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite purchases! When my dog was a puppy, I kept it on top of the couch to keep it protected. My dog used ot have lots of accidents and nothing at all seeped through to the couch! Even when I spilled a whole cup of water on it, nothing soaked through. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a soft, blankety touch for your pups when they want to snuggle you on the couch, this is IT! Super soft, super comfy, super warm.I have not tested whether or not the waterproof part of it is true. but I have faith there is some truth to it.My ONLY issue is if your dogs (like mine) tend to jump at the chance to bark at things outside, or are jumping up and down frequently throughout a span of a few hours. This blanket does not have weight or material to help it not slide/move around. If you are looking for it to protect your couch, it can short term, but I would not rely on it while I'm out of the house.

The item is as described. I now don't have to spend time washing all of the bedding if there is a pet accident. If I ever replace this, I might get a wider blanket so it goes down the sides of the bed.

Best money I’ve ever spent. You have to buy this blanket if you have a puppy. I was shocked when my pup peed on it and it just sat there. Didn’t soak up at all. Made clean up so easy. If I had more money, I would cover my entire house with these while he’s potty training haha

Really Does the Job! I have a shy, very anxious young rescue cat who’s fairly new to the household l. She uses the litter box like a champ when I am home but very occasionally pees on the bed when I go out. She gets lots of attention when I’m home, which is most of the time. Anyway, I bought a couple of these blankets after reading the rave reviews.The blanket does a GREAT job! It received its first test yesterday. I came home after running errands and the cat had peed on the bed but the liquid was sitting on top of the blanket in a tidy little puddle with no soak-through whatsoever. I was able to use a paper towel to absorb most of it, then used water followed by a water & baking soda mix solution to remove the odor, followed by another plain water wipe. I then blotted it with a paper towel and that was that!I kept the blanket on the bed for the rest of the day and night, then tossed it in the washing machine this morning. As noted in a previous review I read, the blanket does take a long time to dry in the stipulated “low temp” mode. However, it’s totally worth it as it did a perfect job of protecting all the bed coverings underneath. It only necessitated one laundry load with a bit of Nature’s Miracle Laundry Boost for the blanket itself rather than three loads and a grumbling fest! Additionally, it is just as soft out of the dryer as it was when it first arrived. BTW, these come with *no odor* right out of the packaging—also very helpful.I ordered two more of these. Hopefully, the cat will drop this behavior altogether at some point but we’re totally equipped to deal with it easily now, either for the short haul or the long haul. I totally recommend this great product!
