Orthodox Christian Prayer Book

Fantastic quality Orthodox prayer book. The cover is of a good quality and the gold also looks great on the cover and the edges of the paper. The paper is also of a high quality and the font size is more than decent enough to read. The book is around the size of an adult males hand so it can fit easily into your pocket or bag. This book contains all the prayers an English speaking Orthodox Christian could need. I highly recommend this book to any catechumen and even someone that is a life long Orthodox Christian.

This book is good it has a lot of different prayer

Where to start? America to London within 5 days, thats a big thumbs up already. In appearance its a sturdy hardcover book with a soft cloth covering, debossed gold stamping design too (meaning the gold features appear indented into the book cover rather than being just stuck on or standing 3D from the cover). 3 ribbons. About 4" by 6" sizing, what I would consider "inbetween pocket and compact" size. Superior quality overall. Inside. Its a treasury of prayers and is totally acceptable to be used round the clock to mark/pray the Hours and sanctify the day. I like how Morning Prayer (Matins) can be cut short (see photo) before the 6 Psalms. Vespers, Little Hours, Compline... its all there. Even the small Paraklesis to the Theotokos. Plus lots of other goodies, particularly this "A Safeguard for the Soul" which takes you over a daily examen for a month. And of course more personal devotions, for health, for loved ones, for purity .etc.. For a small book its got a lot in there. Newrome Press have a real gem in this, I feel. I cannot recommend it enough. Glad I paid the extra tenner for express delivery too. One day these will be more wide spread in the UK, hopefully!

Beautiful christian orthodox prayer book. This is our second order.

Pretty small for the price it is, however it is very nice, I opened it and the God put a prayer section on my heart already. I like how there’s 3 different book marks, very nice indeed. I have another prayer book that’s cheaper but if you have any extra change save up for this one.

This is wonderful looking book smaller then expected but not to small this I can see will really help my christian life weather protestant catholic or orthodox

Strong, well-made prayer book. Fits into a pocket. Strong paper, good quality print, pages well-designed. A good number of prayers.
