Works well, the 2 dedicated charging ports are a great addition for phones or tablets you don't want connected to your computer, all the ports are fast and work well, Handy light to let you know when it's powered on, really easy to set up with it being impossible to get wrong, it's maybe a little too lightweight as some cables can lift it up, good value for money for a hub

So far, this seems to be a a good quality and decent value for money item. It has a excellent range of ports, including 3x USB-A (most other compact, multi-port, devices seem to only have 2), along with HDMI 4K 60Hz (some other hubs still seem to only have 4K 30Hz). I could not see many devices with such a range of ports at a decent price. I have tried all 3 usb-a ports, the usb-c, and the HDMI ports - and all work without issue on the MacBook Air I use, along with a Acer monitor with a HDMI connection. The device feels well made, with the main case being made of aluminium alloy. It has a robust feeling, thick braded USB-C lead to connect the hub to your laptop. The device does get a bit warm in use, possibly linked to the aluminium case, but I place it on a desk, as I suspect most people would, so I don't see this as a issue. A nice small touch is that there is a slot to store the USB-C connection that you use to plug the device into your laptop, when not in use, so it remains tidy/free of dirt in your bag.

Had this unit for over a year now and it's functioned great consistently. The addition of 3 higher powered slots is very useful for phone charging and connecting external drives that require a bit more juice. The only slight gripe is that the USB cable at 1 metre will be too short to reach from the desk where you need to position this USB hub, to the back of the PC when placed under the desk. For this reason, I used it connected to front USB ports for the longest time which left trailing wires. I eventually fixed this with a USB extender which allowed me to tidy up the units cabling and place it better where I need it on the desk. All in all a worthwhile purchase.

Excellent quality product. Bought as an external HDD needed more power than my Surface Pro could provide. Plugged the HDD and the external CD/DVD drive into the fast ports and bingo. Was able to transfer 10 CDs full of photos and videos onto the external hard drive to then play on the TVs around the house. Great, we'll designed product, worth the extra compared to some of the cheaper versions. Neat size and well made. Recommend.

I have been using TP-Link products for many years and they have proven very reliable, so I'm sure this new USB powered hub will be just as good. There are cheaper 'no-name' hubs on sale but I'm glad I paid a bit extra for this quality TP-Link hub. Some of the USB ports on the front panel of my old PC were getting a bit unreliable, with the plugs getting a bit wobbly and one or two not connecting reliably. I was able to plug the TP-Link 7-port hub into a spare USB 3.0 connector on the back of the PC and the supplied cable was long enough to set the hub on the desk at the side of the PC tower. After plugging in the reassuringly chunky power supply, the power LED on the hub came on and my devices all worked perfectly. At the moment I'm using 5 of the 7 ports and I'm also able to charge my phone and iPad from the two power outlets on the end of the hub. The power on/off switch on the hub is surprisingly useful as it means I don't have to unplug any devices after I shut the PC down for the night. My old powered hub would leave them powered on all the time so I had to unplug them which obviously isn't good as regards wear and tear on the USB sockets. Now I can leave them all plugged in and simply press the on/off button on the hub.

This has been a lifesaver, has freed up my USB slots on my laptop so have less cables running round my laptop.

Quality item, I bought a cheaper hub which was faulty so returned and spent a bit more on this. I have 2 external backup USB drives connected going to a KVM and then a Mac and PC - it works flawlessly. Can also charge my phone with this. Trusted brand good build quality don't waste time and money on cheap ones get this 👍

This is great as it has 7 ports and 2 charging ports as well. Works well. I bought the first one several years back, since then have bought 3 more - one for my son and another for my PC and one more for my Mac. Works well with both Macs and Windows PCs.
