This product was amazing quality of a very good size for both Rottweiler and terrier and have had them months with lots of chew ability in them amazing value for money

Please do not buy this for your pet, on the first bite of the wood a large splinter came of the wood and hurt my dog, I would not consider this a safe dog chew.im so upset that I got this for my dog, my dog is a small cross breed so she should of been safe to chew on it.

Our puppy likes to chew, so this provides a good variety of textures for her to chew. It is quite large, however she does manage to pick it up. May not be suitable for very small dogs.

… but it does flake off

The root is a great size and textured to allow a treat like dog-friendly peanut butter or meat paste to be smeared I to the nooks and crannies. Billy (border collie) was immediately interested and carried it in his mouth without a problem. Unfortunately, after a couple of minutes, there were pieces chipped off the wood that he either ate or left on the floor. I wanted to get him something that would last him, so was quite disappointed. I'll keep it but just pick up any loose pieces as he goes!

My dog loves wood, we have a house full of wooden furniture and afraid Ted would chew. This olive root smells amazing, very tactile and Ted loves it

Our retriever had a root from the same seller previously, received as a present from my parents. It lasted for months and he enjoyed it very much. It got quite small after 6 months so I didn’t hesitate to buy a replacement. Unfortunately, though I understand this is a natural product, the root we received this time was very light and crumbly, with tiny holes on one side, suggesting it might have had wood worm at some stage. Sadly it came apart within five minutes. What a shame!!! It cannot be returned for obvious reasons, but perhaps the seller should consider replacements or a thorougher check before packing and shipping. Disappointed.
