Spicy Aztec Hot Chocolate, 16 oz (Packaging May Vary)

So good. Very rich. Be warned, it's very spicy, so use it sparingly. So so yummy!

This is a repeat order of the spiced hot chocolate I'm reviewing. Historically, when chocolate was first discovered in the Americas by European explorers, chocolate was reserved for the nobility and priesthood, and was usually served mixed with hot peppers. This lovely hot chocolate is reminiscent of that tradition, although I don't think theirs was as sweet as this is. Pepper heads will be disappointed it's not that hot, but for the rest of us, it makes a nice warm chocolate drink for chilly days. Good stuff!

This hot chocolate is yummy and has a slight kick to it! I am sensitive to spice and had no problem with the flavor. The only issue with this product is that the price is steep for what you get.

I have always put a pinch of chili peppers in my cocoa. You would be surprised at the the heightened flavor. A couple years ago Starbucks came out with a chili mocha and I was in heaven. Everyone that I convinced to try it loved it too. (People are very hesitant when chili is involved). Well, Sbux did not bring it back the next year and I was heartbroken. I have been trying to recreate it ever since. I came across this recently and decided to give it a try. This is the closest that I have ever found. It goes great in my coffee, a homemade chili mocha latte. I cannot say enough good things about it. it is a bit pricey, But I will be enjoying my chili mochas all winter and I'm happy. It makes an awesome hot chocolate,too

Disappointed in this Mexican hot chocolate, while it has the right heat - It really has no chocolate taste at all. And not even a hint of sweet. I really miss FunFresh Foods - Sweet Moose Gourmet Hot Chocolate Organic Cocoa Mayan Spice.

Yeas ago I had an amazing Aztec hot chocolate from a restaurant. This is the only brand I’ve been able to find anything close. Love it!!! The quality of the chocolate is great and you can control the spice level by how much you use or even make it creamier by using Fairlife milk or even adding some cream. This is going on my subscription list!
