Orico SSD case good working for over 3 months with average usage!
Good still working, there could be contact issues or may be there could be the SsD card matching issue, but it does read after some struggle!Overall it is trust worthy product! Transfer speeds are good depending on your system!

Great Casing! Comes with Thermal pads as well.
Pros:Easy to use.Used it to clone my internal ssd. worked like wonders.Speed is good enough.Thermal Pads and heatsync are provided.Extra Rubber screws/tabs are provided.Cons:Only USB C to USB C cable provided. I wish they also had USB 3.0 C to A Type cable since most of the devices still don't have USB C. or atleast an adapter should've been provided. Also, doesn't work if you connect with a phone.

UASP (USB SCSI) works great on Linux, cool temp
This product comes with the Realtek RTL9210B-CG controller which is working great on Linux kernel 6.1 in UAS (USB-SCSI) mode.Had issues with a similar product with the JMicron JMS583 controller and same kernel.Device idles at a cool 29C and goes up to 40C on I/O load testing. Yes, this controller has SMART capability!Easy to install as it doesn't need any screws, comes with an instruction manual which is great for muppets like me who can't install anything right the first time.Good speeds when benchmarking the whole disk (freshly formatted) using gnome disk utility.

100% waste of money.
This company claims 10 Gbps speed on Type C port, but it provides only 5 Gbps, the company is lying to us. and i test this thing with my Intel 512GB Nvme M.2 SSD originally my ssd speed around 1800 MB/sbut with this enclosure my ssd delivered 500 MB/s.NOTE :- i test with my PC Type C Thunderbolt Port.Pls don't buy this buy something else more reliable.

Good product
the enclosure is well built and metallic. there is a usb c to c cable provided for fast data transfer. speeds are a little lower than described but that could be due to the ssd controller being on the budget side. overall, would recommend for the price.

Value for money
I have been using this with my Samsung 970 Evo plus 1 TB SSDs for the past two years. So far, I have bought three and all of them are working fine. I use them for Time Machine backup drive.Cons: The drives do get very hot in the enclosure. This is only noticeable if your using the drive continuously. It doesn't heat up for short duration transfers.PS you have to initialise the drive for the first time using Disk Utility in Mac/Windows. After that it's pretty much plug and play.

Cheaper plastic version of their standard model at same speed
I have orico made full metal enclosure purchased at ~3000. This has same controller RTL9210b and same transfer speed but uses more plastic with a thin metal shell. It is taller, lighter, and a short usb c to usb c cable included. No brass mounting standoff. Very easy to open and close. Works as good as the heavier metal cases. Speed on Macmini M2 vis thunderbolt port for a Crucial P3 drive is 800+ write and 800+ read speed with Novabench software. On Macmini 3.1 USB A port ~270 write and 300+ read. Same speed with ORICO full metal costlier USB 3 Gen2 enclosure. The rubber screw has a tendency to come off and disk loses connection. That rubber thing was a bad idea. Very practical and cheaper.
