Library of (Ex Libris) Book Embossing Press - Company or Personal Name - Blue Handheld

I bought a book stamp as a gift but tested it to see if it was OK. It was very easy to use and produced a lovely embossed stamp,looks very sturdy but can't tell how durable it will be. I am sure my daughter will be delighted with it.I ordered it late on a Sunday and it arrived Tuesday - very speedy delivery!

Ordering works like this. You buy via Amazon. Then within 24 hrs you get an email asking what words you want. In fact as it was coming up to Christmas a lovely guy from City Company Seals also called me after sending the email to check what text I wanted. They then make it and send it. Got mine 3 days after ordering. They can also make bespoke embossers, company logos etc but obviously this costs extra.The embosser itself is simple, sturdy and does the job brilliantly.Just hope my daughter likes it!Highly recommended supplier and product, would definitely (and probably will) buy from them again.

The embosser was a present for my wife who has a love of books and she loves it. The press works really well. I would recommend it - but try out on a few scraps of paper first to get the feel of the pressure required, the first one i did was a bit heavy handed and tore some of the paper. Works perfectly.

This is such a great thing to own for a book lover. I ordered one as a treat for myself and I'm completely in love with it. It came very swiftly and works just great (it's true what others have said here, though, best to practise a few times on some scrap paper to get the pressure just right). I'm about to order another one as a gift!

Very early arrival, arrived within 2 week; far earlier than the expected date.Buyers would want to try the embossing on different kinds of paper before applying to actual books so as to not cut the paper if pressed too hard. The model is a little sharp.Also, there are two plates that close together to make the stamping; the edge of the bottom plate is a bit rough, but that doesn't affect the embossing result in anyway.Lastly, the pouch is too small for the pressor.The result is otherwise good, and I suggest practicing on different kinds of paper before actual use.

This is the second embossing press that I've bought as a present. They are super and make a unique gift for a book lover. City Company Seals are brilliant, I ordered one day and it was despatched early the next. No problems at all and no doubt I'll order from them again.

Took a while to figure out how it works but when I did I was really impressed and pleased. Leaves a clear impression on the page. Speedy delivery. Bought for my son who has hundreds of books, I think he will love it!

Once you get the knack of inserting the seal, this device is easy to use and effective. If you are not successful at inserting the seal, first time - be patient. You will kick yourself, it is so simple.
