Mixing Spot/Mixing Tray. (made in the uk) by Keto Plastics

brought this after seeing them used at my daughters playgroup, and also have a childminder friend who has one. I brought this a while ago and haven't done much with it yet, I have had ideas and like the idea of using as an outside 'space' in the summer.I really like the fact it has many uses depending on what you are doing and is ideal for messy play and trying to keep it confined to a space!!! so far the only thing I have used it for is collecting sunflower seeds and playing sorting treasure out. I am hoping to use it to make food pictures, for play doh and for making reindeer food for Christmas.its an item I can see getting much use out of and I look forward to sourcing more ideas online on what to use it for!

Builder's trays are a must for parents of small chidlren as they contain messy play. They offer so many options of what to do with them from play dough and painting to sensory gardens or water play (outside). This one is very sturdy and level. I bought some at B&Q that were slightly cheaper but made of much thinner plastic and had an uneven surface. I would recommend this tray. You will get good value for your money. I bought mine over a year ago and it is still like new.

I have been looking for a "tuff tray" for a long time and finally saw this in stock !Read the reviews and was a bit worried about it being damaged, or not sitting flat, however I ordered anyway as they are impossible to find at the moment!It was delivered 5 days earlier the expected date, and is absolutely perfect. It was delivered in a box, instead of plastic wrap which is great! We were able to recycle the box rather than having to throw away a ton of plastic!My daughter is really happy with it, and life with small toys is much easier!It lays completely flat on the floor too.Very pleased with it.

Great item. Was warped when first arrived but soon flattens out once being used. I don't think it's designed to be exactly flat though, so I wouldn't expect things not to roll even when it has flattened. What I found really annoying was the delivery stickers - big things - were stuck on the front and can I hell get the glue off. Quite problematic, and an eye sore, especially when you're using sand or rice for messy play. Why would you not just stick them on the back where they can live forever without ever bothering anyone?!

I bought this product through seeing some great ideas on pinterest. My child has since use it extensively. We store it on a hook attached to the garage outside, so that it can be used without us needing to take it down, and our 4 year old can help themselves to when they want to play. Some of the best ideas we have used it for:As a floor mat, so when our child is painting, they can make as much mess as they like, as it's all captured.As a sand/water tray- The lip around the edge allows approximately 1 inch of water, so it's safe, wih enough water to not waste it. The benifit of it being black plastic means the usually cold water from the hose pipe is warmed enough quite quickly by the sun.We intend to get a couple of remote control cars, and place blobs of paint in the tray, then use the RC cars to drive tracks around in the tray. Easy to clean, messy fun.

Perfect for my son to play with he has loved playing with sand inside in the winter. He has even sat in it so it's very sturdy. It keeps the messy stuff inside

I'm so glad I bought this for the kids. It keeps them busy for hours and hours and when they eventually get bored I just put something else in it. So far we've had pretend snow with happy land toys, and train tracks, mud with diggers, kinetic sand, hay and farm yard animals and play doh. Can be used indoors or outdoors too.

Fantastic product, and made in the UK which is always a bonus. I didn't buy it for the reason it was made, I read the reviews of parents and childminders who use it for children's messy play - it's a marvellous invention. My son loves to get messy and I can let him, using this. In the warm weather I filled it with soapy water too which he loved. Well made and excellent value for money. It even arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Thank you!
