3M 2080 Series G13 Gloss Hot Rod Red Dual Cast Thick Vinyl Car Wrapping Film - 5ft x 2ft - 10sq ft - Vehicle Sheet Roll

First off, I have a 2008.5 MazdaSpeed3 in "True Red" and this vinyl is a perfect match. This was my first attempt to do any sort of vinyl wrap. I think I may have chosen smaller parts to do to minimize the investment, but those smaller parts had a lot more curves, sides and testing shape than something like a hood. However, doing those parts were great to learn and practice. I will probably go back and do them again, but the cost of the vinyl definitely makes it affordable to try, fail, and try, try again. Beware of videos online as there are a few different types of tack with different brands of vinyl. It was a fun skill to try to learn, and this vinyl was great for me to start the learning process. One other suggestion for people starting, spend the $15 on a set of vinyl tools as they are worth their weight in gold.

This vynil comes with a clear film on top, after you put heat it peels itself, thats something that I didn't like because loose the shiny color and stays matte

Two things...this needs two people to install nicely. AND DO NOT pull on it while installing. It wrinkled like a son of a gun at any little tug. Best used by professionals I think. Granted - I am a 60 year old woman who installed it alone in 97f degree weather. It was a bitch and even though I only pulled back a little of the backing at a time and smoothed it out from a beginning point - with just a few inches exposed it stuck to itself on any little curve of the roof. I used it on a smart car roof. Let's just say that roof has as many wrinkles as I do - maybe more! :D

The material is awesome! I was a first time user so I struggled a lot, but a chose to do a fridge I should have started small. The finished product came out great!!
