Does this shower filter removes fluoride?

We apologize for the confusion, but Omica Organics changed our formulation and stopped making fluoride claims over 2 years ago.  After careful study, we found that the amount of activated alumina (used for fluoride reduction) that fit into our shower filters could become depleted before a full 6 months of shower filter use.  Fluoride removal requires a very, very high volume of activated alumina, so much so that it would require a filter that is a minimum 6' tall and 3.5" in diameter to sufficiently accommodate 2 people showering over a 6-month period.  Even then, the challenges of fast water flow and hot water temperature inhibit the ability to address fluoride efficiently.For these reasons, we chose to eliminate activated alumina from our filter and utilize that space for more of our other filtering media, concentrating on chlorine, ammonia, heavy metals, and vibrational damage.  Omica Organics is the only company addressing vibrational damage from chemicals, electromagnetics, and radiation, which we believe can have just as much, if not more, damaging effect on our bodies.

Does this shower filter remove 100%  chlorine and chloramine?

On our company website, you can look at the independent 3rd-party lab results showing the Omica shower filter has been tested to remove up to 96% of chlorine.

Will this work with a hand-held shower wand?

If your willing to believe that the filter works they way it is PURPORTED to work despite the manufacturers lack of supportive evidence and lies about having a test done... then... maybe you would be able to use it with a hand held shower.  Look at the proportion of the filter to the shower head.  It is large, bulky and heavy.  If you're okay with your hand held shower being obnoxiously big/heavy and the filter having an unknown quality of effectiveness then-- yes it can be used as a hand held shower wand.

Is this a new model?

I am not sure about this ormica  I changed to the Berkey shower filter.  I like it better because it removes fluoride in addition to the other things.
