Quality product with 3 year guarantee...
We have been using this machine for over a week now and have found it to be excellent. We wanted a bean to cup machine that would do the basics. This machine grinds the beans and then makes a glass jug of coffee and keeps it hot for around 40minutes before switching off. You can also use ground coffee instead of beans which we like the idea of. We ordered a 1kg bag of beans to get started and then followed that up with a 1kg bag of decaf beans. There are loads of coffee bean packs you can order. The machine is straightforward to use but read the instructions first. Also do not forget to register the machine and get the extra years guarantee. We bought this on an offer price so for what we paid we have a very good machine. Even the full price is reasonable for the machine. The machine casing is a thick plastic which does have some stretch in it so do make sure that it is all clipped together on delivery. The whole thing was very well packed and taped up inside the box. Cleaning the grinder is easy but you need a small brush to remove the used beans from the lid part of the grinder unit. We got a pastry brush for the job but you could use a new unused half inch paint brush if you wanted to. The glass jug is quite sturdy and you can obtain a replacement from a number of outlets. The same applies to the grinder fitting. We had forgotten just how good freshly made coffee at home can be and so this machine is going to get plenty of use.

Fabulous Machine! Tasty coffee, easy to use, great value...
Bought for a friend who is a self-confessed coffee snob but also has problems with her hands so cannot use the more complex bean to cup machines. She is THRILLED with it! Most importantly of course, it makes a tasty cup of coffee but, for her, it is just as important that it is easy to use and clean - which it is. It was a Christmas present whilst she was staying with us so had time to 'play'with it(i.e. learn how to use it). The house filled with a delicious smell of coffee each morning when she learned how to set the timer to provide her with a hot cuppa...and a reason to get out of bed! I personally can't believe how reasonably priced this machine is. If it continues to serve her as successfully as it has done so far then we heartily recommend it to anyone who is a coffee connoiseur but doesn't want to or isn't able to clear out the piggy bank. Also for those who find it difficult to use more complex machines but want to enjoy 'proper' coffee. Big thumbs up from here!

Set the grinder to 12 cups no matter how many you are making
This bean to brew coffee maker is good value for money at the big discounted price I bought it for on Amazon at under £60. There are some negative issues I have with it. I will mention these, but each time explain the simple "work-around" that other reviewers here have found and one or two I worked out for myself. Firstly the machine comes with an unacceptable strong odor of plastic that does not diminish after the recommended first use using plain water on a cycle without coffee. I ran mine through a cycle without coffee three times and the very strong plastic odor was the same. Following advice from reviewers here I washed the jug, filter, filter holder and the reservoir out using detergent and then rinsing it all thoroughly off. I then ran coffee through it and threw that pot away. Washed everything in water again and the smell is greatly diminished although not yet entirely gone (I am writing this at day 1 of my ownership). But its OK. And will, I feel sure, vanish soon now. Secondly. The makers advice of one heaped scoop of beans per cup and to set the grinder to run according to the number of scoops (the recommend one heaped scoop of un-ground beans per cup) results in an extremely wasteful course grind with some entire beans going un-ground. The way to remedy this is simple. Namely ALWAYS set the grinder for 12 cups regardless of how many cups you make. I used the timer this morning to wake up at 7.30 am and grind and make 6 cups of coffee. With the grinder set for 12 cups the grinding was much finer and all the beans were ground. Thirdly: If you drink mugs rather than cups and drink your coffee black here is my advice for a good coffee taste. Set the brew strength to the one bar on display up strength (not the two which is the strongest). Use one heaped spoon of un-ground beans per TWO cups of water measure (not one heaped scoop per cup as the instructions direct) in the water reservoir and remember to always set the grinder to 12 cups regardless. This will halve the amount of beans needed, save you money and the coffee will be nice and strong (a good Americano style) but not too strong. Use filtered water if you can. Fourthly, the instruction manual does not tell you this but there is no need to remove the jug when you program the machine - that bit in the instruction manual is nonsensical. Moreover, if you leave it plugged in then you can very easily program the machine for the exact same time the next day by simply pressing the alarm clock button to activate the timer. Fifthly, if you grind whole beans in it, always clean the lid of the grinder/filter before the next use as it gets covered in wet grounds. Use a damp kitchen role not a pastry brush as the daft as brush manual suggests as that will just flick wet grinds into the machine. Relatedly, you will unfortunately get some grinds at the bottom of the coffee. This is a design fault in the machine as this should not happen. It never in my older electric filter machine. You get less grinds in your jug if you use whole beans and the grinder function and set the machine to make stronger coffee. This is probably because the grinds are still much less fine than pre-ground coffee and because on the stronger mode it slows the flow of water through them and so somehow less grinds get into the coffee jug.

Brilliant machine, simple to use and lovely fresh hot coffee
5 stars for both the machine and the delivery. Ordered Monday and it was delivered the next day. You can use either beans or ground coffee choosing 1 of 3 coffee strengths, set the timer and it's lovely to wake up to freshly ground coffee in the morning. It's really simple to use and clean and makes lovely hot coffee. Overall i'm really happy

Very good birthday present
It was a gift for my daughter. She was extremely pleased. I bought her some coffee beans as well. She said it ground them well and it was as it says nice and quiet. It kept the coffee warm. She especially liked the timer, once she had worked it out. She hasn’t complained about any leaking. Overall she was very pleased with her birthday present.

Good coffee machine.
Good coffee machine, grinds the beans, and set the timer for when you wake up, the only fault I found was the lid of the grinder is fixed so when cleaning it of the coffee grinds it hard to catch them dropping into the machine,

Good but not great
First of all it works and the coffee is pretty decent, I like the built in grinder so you can do beans to cup and get that lovely smell. Easy to use and the timer works fine. You can change the strength of the coffee too. There are a few challenges which is why it’s only 3/5. Firstly the jug itself drips when you pour so every time I pour a cup I have to clear up a spillage. Secondly, the non-drip tap where the coffee comes from is supposed to stop when you take the jug out, which means you can pour a cup whilst it makes more coffee. It doesn’t, it still drips and you end up with burnt coffee on the hot plate which isn’t great. Thirdly, you can only use the brewed coffee for 40 mins, which isn’t long enough. By the time I’ve had my first cup the time is up, and the whole point for me was to be more economic and make coffee that’ll last a long time. Lastly, you have to wash it up every time you use it and can’t use a dishwasher. Goes with the territory for these so can’t really fault the manufacturer but if like me, you are moving away from the incredibly un-environmentally friendly (and now ludicrously expensive) pods, you need to be aware.

Great alternative to a full coffee machine
The machine arrived promptly and after some research online in YouTube, mastered using the machine. Little bit of guess work to get it started but all in all good. In my opinion it would help to use a decent brand of coffee beans, not just 'own brands' from Coles, Woolworths and Aldi. What is not clearly explained is the amount of beans to use. I started out 1 scoop (provided) per cup but this was very strong. I settled on 1 per 2 cups or one per mug. A kilo of beans will set you back (Vitoria) about $25. This will last more than a month or two depending on how many cups you drink a day. We are heavy coffee drinkers and were spending about $10 a day on coffee shop purchases as well as Moccona and others top-ups when back home. The coffee 'bill' annualised was in excess of $5,000. Now we will be around about $350. The machine at less than $300 makes perfect sense. Great machine, highly recommended and if you like freshly ground coffee, and a pot that stays piping hot all day, you can't go wrong.

Weak support
I bought this 2 times. First one's carafe had been broken and I used something else to replace it as I couldn't find the original carafe. After while the machine had been broken as I didn't use orginal carafe. Second one's carafe is broken now, I asked to the company for original carafe. It has been 2 months they didn't reach out me. And I'm looking a carafe that I can use with it. It's like a cycle that you need to follow when you buy this machine unless the brand starts to sell parts on Amazon.
