Surprisingly excellent and silent fan
This is my first Noctua fan but I've purchased well over 100 computer fans over the past 20 years. This is the first time I've felt it necessary to write a review for a fan, something so basic that you never think about it after fitting. I used to think that the hype around Noctua's fans was just that, hype. All fans are about the same aren't they? But actually I was wrong, this fan is by far the best computer fan I've ever purchased. Firstly it's silent, I did not need to use either of the inline resister cables that come with the fan as by default it's inaudible. I literally cannot hear it while holding it in my hand having plugged it in to test it worked. That's the first time that has ever happened, I'm replacing a Zalman 80mm fan that purported itself to be silent but was by far the most noisy fan in my environment so to go from that to this is like a night and day difference. I can see why these fans are exspensive when compared to the competition, it moves quite a decent amount of air while being inaudible to my ears, obviously a lot of development has gone into the fan and it shows. The packaging is also the best I've seen for something like a fan, it's printed in full colour, thick cardboard and includes a window piece to view the product which is held closed with two velcro pads. Quite a lot of effort has been made in the presentation. The fan itself feels very solid, the plastic has no flex to it and is using a thick injection mould. The rubber grommets on all the corners are also nice quality and it does include both metal screws and rubber pull throughs for affixing the fan to your computer case. I chose to use the rubber pull throughs which work perfectly fine and feel durable. Overall I'd highly recommend this fan it has surprised me enough that I will be buying some more Noctua fans in different sizes for other computer builds, never have I used a fan this quiet after trying all manner of brands prior to this.

Very quiet, high quality Fan, ideal for silencing a Creality 3 V2 3D Printer
I bought altogether 4 Noctua NF-A8 FLX to get the noise level of my Reality Ender 3 V2 down. I decided to install BRISS Moto Fangs on the Hotend and also switched out the mainboard and PSU fans. Since they are 12V Fans, I did fit Buck Converters. The noise level of my 3d Printer has gone down dramatically since I installed the Noctua Fans and the Part cooling fan, as well as the Hotend fan do their job - even when I print for days. I know there's a controversy about the Noctuas being not powerful enough to the Hotend successfully, but that definitely doesn't seem the case with the stock Ender 3 V2 Hotend. In the Video, both fans are at 100% and you basically can't hear them - The movement of the x and y axis makes more noise! All 4 Fans have been running for 4 Months now and there is no sign, that the noise level has changed. I'm pretty confident that they will be doing their job for a long time. The Fan itself comes in a somewhat absurdly over engineered packaging. Less would have been more here, since it all ends in the bin anyway. It comes with a whole set of connectors that will prove very useful, depending on where you want to attach it to. All in all I'm very happy with the Noctua Fans. They are very quiet but seem to cool all components sufficiently. I just wish Noctua would overthink their packaging.

Excellent Quality Fans
I have bought 2 of these to replace old fans on the front of my PC One was connected directly to the motherboard with a supplied extension lead and the other to a molex with a supplied molex converter cable and one of the speed reduction cables. I am very pleased with the fans - quiet, very well made, 6 years warranty and they come with everything you need to fit them The kit includes two speed reduction cables, a molex converter cable and an extender cable. Rubber and metal mounting screws are also provided. Its a shame that the Y connector cable is not provided as in some of the other Noctua kits. I chose these over the NF-A8 PWM as they run at a lower speed and are quieter - I have used the PWM version and they are also very good provided you have good fan control available. Air flow is from the blank front and exhausts on the logo side Overall excellent fans that I will continue to use

Ender 3 Pro Upgrade
I’ve undertaken several upgrades to my Ender 3 Pro over the last couple of weeks and, if you’re reading this, you are probably thinking about doing the same, so you may want to look for each of the following reviews under my name, to get a fuller picture. They are; • Sunlu Filament Dryer • Silent Motherboard 4.2.7 • Build Plate Springs • BL Touch auto bed leveller • Noctua Silent Power Supply Fan Noctua Silent Power Supply Fan The noise reduction from this is incredible. Previously I’ve always needed to have the printer in the garage because it was too noisy for my office. Replacing the motherboard took out all the extruder movement noise but the power supply fan still remained a bit too loud when it kicked in. After fitting this fan the machine is getting close to silent. Fitting it is pretty easy but in any case I’d recommend following the instructions on 3dprintscape, where you’ll also pick up the stl for a self-printed housing. I’m so impressed with this result that I may now look at doing the same, if possible, for the extruder fans.

QUALITY! & Quiet..
I chose Noctua as they're an award winning quality brand, which consistently tops Tech. review polls, with a reassuring guarantee; You get what you pay for. Easy to fit, quiet & it does what it's meant to! - I replaced 2 casing fans & the CPU Cooler with Noctua; my old PC with it's cheap stock parts used to rattle & roar like a jet engine - now it's so quiet that when I switch it on, for a second I worry it's broken as I'm so used to the racket it used to make! 😂 Personally I like the distinctive colour; makes it obvious it's Noctua - I've finally upgraded! - & it confuses the 'style over substance' brigade. I prefer it to the ubiquitous black ~ Black is perfect for clothes, but I don't need my PC to match my wardrobe.

Good fan
This fan is not entirely quiet, but it seems like a good fan, and more silent than other fans. One of the anti-vibraion mounts (not the corners of the fan, but the soft, long things to mount it) were missing, but i have spare ones lying around and nothing else was missing update: found the "missing" part

Puts my other small equipment fans to shame
The fan runs at 2000rpm. It has an option to run at a lower speed to be even quieter. It’s not needed. This little fan puts all my other equipment fans to shame.

Well I'm a fan!
Noctua always produce top quality products - this is no exception. Note, this is the DC version - if you're fitting in a PC case pay the extra for the PWM version.

Cool !

Quality product with lots of interesting stuff inside the box
I used 3 of these in my mini nas with the Jonsbo N3 case. 2 Back exhausts and one front intake. And let me tell you it is perfect. The Noctua proprietary silicone screws are top-notch and allow for special use cases where normal screws aren't convenient/possible. Works well with the 4-pin Molex cable from any ATX/SFX psu.
