My journey finding the best indoor rowing gloves is now complete...
If you are seeking the best available gloves to use with your indoor rowing machine, then look no further! I'm new to rowing and recently purchased a Peloton Row. Everyone boasts about how great of a low-impact workout rowing is (and it is) but never mentions that it will destroy your hands. So much that I could only get 1 - 2 quality row workouts in a week to give my hands time to heal. See the attached photo showing what my hands look like after one rowing session, not wearing gloves. Despite following expert advice in not gripping too hard, it didn't make a difference for me. I decided to invest in a pair of good rowing gloves. To my surprise, there aren't many options out there, and I did heavy research. I started out by testing seven different gloves before the 2K gloves, including: 1) Kayak gloves 2) Hornet row gloves 3) Two different brands of weight-lifting gloves 4) MTB gloves (both full glove and half glove) 5) Outdoor working gloves (from Costco) --- these actually weren't bad, and way better than the other gloves I tested, but no comparison to the 2K gloves. Yesterday I used the 2K gloves over two 30-minute rowing classes and crushed my prior best output because my hands actually felt good, and no new blisters formed. I was honestly shocked and had zero expectations. These gloves have a gel-like feel which makes a huge difference. The design is interesting, and it works well, keeping the tops of my hands relatively cool. I still wouldn't mind a version with full coverage. I can see how the fit may not be fully dialed in for some. I ordered a size large (I wear large / XL gloves), and they are the perfect fit for me. I was initially concerned that there would be too much extra material in the palm area (which, with other gloves, extra material can compress/bunch together and form blisters). However, that was not the case at all. I was also concerned that I'd get blisters on the exposed parts of my fingers, but these gloves stretch up my fingers nicely during the Drive portion of my stroke. My biggest concern is if these will hold up over time. Realistically speaking, will I get 6 - 12 months out of these? I don't think the stitching is great. I noticed a few areas where I had to cut some excess threading that was starting to unravel before I even used the gloves. I also don't know how durable the material is on the palms, and how that will hold up. I can tell that these gloves are manufactured in smaller batches and have a bit of a DIY feel. That being said, I don't care because they are the ONLY gloves so far that have not formed new blisters and allow me to focus on maintaining better form and output because I'm no longer worried about my hands. I may purchase a second set to have because my indoor rowing experience would not be complete without these.

These really helped me as I worked out on the rowing machine.
A few years ago I had surgry on my hand, which was successful for pain management but left my hand weaker than it was before. When I started working out on the rowing machine, I found it difficult to hang on to the handle easily. These gloves have really helped and my workout has improved becaused I'm not struggling to hang on. The grip feels solid, and the gloves help balance out the pull across my hand and wrist. Well worth it.

Watch sits where the strap wraps on wrist
I do like how these row gloves protect my hands from calluses. They do offer a good quality pad for my grip. Just enough to be quality and not get in the way of being able to properly grip the row handle. They are also nice not being a full glove for hand sweating purposes. The one problem is my Apple Watch. The strap that wraps around my wrist happens to be the same spot as my Apple Watch. I can work around it by trying to put the watch up a bit further but that feels a bit funky. It also hasnโt -to my knowledge- skewed my workout results. Itโs something that I didnโt think about coming from a full glove with a lower strap. Yes, the picture clearly shows where the wrist straps will wrap but I just didnโt think of that at the time of purchase. Itโs definitely something to think about if you use your watch to record a workout.

Essential rowing equipment
I don't row without them now. Before I used them I gripped too hard. It helps to distribute the pull. There maybe a better technique I could learn but it helps me.

Good protection, bad sizing
Like another reviewer mentioned, the velcro on the straps does not give you much sizing flexibility. The strap wraps around your wrist twice, and the velcro doesn't quite end up in the right place. I don't know who they designed these for, but they must have tiny wrists. I wear a size S in nitrile gloves and the straps barely secure correctly- my wrists are almost too big. They could fix it by just adding more velcro along the strap. The gloves are comfortable and they do a great job of protecting my hands while rowing. If they fixed the weird sizing problem these would be 5 stars, but it's such a dumb mistake that I'm taking 2 stars off.

Reduces blisters while retaining grip
These gloves use an intuitive and thoughtful design. The result is a product that works as advertised and minimizes blister risk during long, sweaty rowing sessions.

They may look odd but they work GREAT!
Most of the rowing glove options are exactly that - gloves. Some with fingers. Most without. Padded palms. But these 2K gloves are very different. Pretty much a palm pad with finger loops and a hook & loop wrist wrap. They don't look like gloves and don't feel like gloves. But functionally, they are perfect for protecting your palms and fingers while rowing. I've erged around 500,000 meters on these so far and they still perform as well as the 1st meter. One recommendation: Take the time to measure your hands and look at the measurements of the gloves to get the best fit before ordering. I saw several reviews with complaints about the size, but mine fit exactly according to the product chart. One very minor complaint - the wrist band does a double wrap to keep them secure but on my wrists, the strap just barely reaches the fuzzy loops. That strap could be another 1" longer for a better fit. Its not enough of a fault to knock back a "star" as it doesn't affect the overall performance of the product.

Best rowing gloves I have found
These are designed for rowing. Good padding and open back of the hand to add ventilation and prevent sweating.

A great product if you have sore hands
The 2K Fit gloves are great if you have problems with your hands. You will have to adjust your grip slightly when wearing them for the first couple of times. These are great gloves if your hands are sore (not from blisters) .
