LightcraftTable Magnifier Lamp

This product was exactly what I was looking for! It gives very good lighting with no shadowing allowing me to do very detailed work while looking through the magnifying glass. The head of the lamp is joint using a "Ball and Socket" method allowing you to rotate the head as you like which is very handy. The only down side to this lamp is that if you bend the arm further than about 45 degrees the lamp rocks forward as the head is a little heavy for the stand but does not fall over. Also the first joint above the stand does loosen with too much use meaning it won't hold up the arm and head (it also arrived like this which I assume is for safety/easier transport to minimise any breakage if a screw is too tight) but not to worry! They have a secret holding space under the stand that holds a L-shaped Hex Wrench that you use to tighten up the screw and it's ready to use! I really like the discreet holding space under the stand as you know you won't accidentally misplace the Hex Wrench. All-in-all I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it if you want something within a good price range.

I bought this as I have just rediscovered airfix modelling, after a 50 year break.I soon discovered that my old eyes weren't up to it anymore so I purchased this lamp on user reviews.It is brilliant , such a great illumination and a useful magnification too.It is solidly built with a heavy base, the elbow can be adjusted with an Allen key that is supplied and kept underneath the base.For what I needed it for it is great value and well made. I am sure now I own it I shall find lots of other uses for it too.

Like: a good strong light, and not too difficult to change the tubeDislike: you need muscles of steel to tighten the joints, or it collapses under its own weight [PS I don't think the instructions tell you there is provided a suitable alleyn key in a recess in the base]

A well made lamp which provides excellent illumination for your work area. The main lens gives good, clear magnification and the extra magnification given by the small lens insert is extremely useful when carrying out very intricate/fine detail work.I had looked at other makes of worklamps at various hobby/craft shops but found them all to be too expensive, too flimsy, poor magnification or lacked flexibility because they had to be clamped to the work surface before deciding to purchase this one from Amazon. I would definitely recommend the Lightcraft lamp to anyone who is looking for a value for money magnifying lamp which does the job it's intended to do, and does it really well.

Well made , works as it should. Only 4 stars as it will tip forward if you extend the lense as low an as far out as it will go, otherwise a good product

This is the second Table Magnifier Lamp I have purchased. The first one I bought many years ago, it still works perfectly and I use it almost on a daily basis for everything from jewellery repairs, fine sewing work, removing splinters, reading impossibly small instructions, etc. I purchased a second because my better half kept borrowing mine for his new found love of building models. It is sturdy, has a strong magnification, a nice bright white light. It is easy to manoeuvre and doubles as an excellent desk lamp.

Good craft lamp. Bought as a present for my son. First one didn't work but Amazon replaced very quickly. He was very pleased with it.

If your after a good qaulity lamp that's not to expensive then look no further , this product met up to all my expectations its perfect for my needs , delivery was swift and i highly recommend this lamp .
