Are hunters true to size, or do I need to size down?

They are true to size, the point is that if you use thick socks you may need half size bigger at least. Sometimes the space around the instep maybe really tight for some people, it depends on the thickness and flexibility of your ankle.

From the ground just under 16" - 40 cms. Above heel 14" - 37 cms. I'm 5'2" and boots come below back of knee. Am very pleased with them. I normally have size 4, but have a size larger and wear thick socks.

How flexible are the boots? Don't like feeling my leg is in a splint - lol. Also, do they run small or large? I'm hesitating between size 4 or 5.

I went for the 6 as I’m a 5.5 and the fit lovely with thick socks. They are quite flexible as are other boots. But hunter do carry a shorter height if you rather
