I'm using this to observe my guinea pig hutch and it works really well. I like the connectivity to your phone and so I can check in with the piggies when I am away. It was very easy to set up too. I have the 2k version, the video quality is fine for the purpose I need it for (ensuring newly bonded piggies aren't fighting!), but if you want really clear video to share on socials or something like that, you might wish to upgrade to the 3K. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

What a bargain ! Our old puppy cam had gotten broken so we were looking for a reasonably priced replacement and we definitely got it ! So easy and quick to setup and such a good picture with plenty of extras, alarms and smooth movement. That good we purchased an outdoor camera to replace the one outside. 2 cameras 1 app and plenty of scope to add more. So far I’m very impressed

Easy to set up, ( I have existing Tapo systems ) plenty of options. Bought as a replacement for a netatmo older device which had failed. Mains powered via normal 3 pin adapter / step down transformer. Picture is bright, clear even in low light. No subscription charges ( well Tapo do an optional cloud server payable, if you want it ) I would say it’s about the size of a soup tin, maybe a tiny bit bigger, but not unwieldy. Has a tilt and follow mode if required. My only criticism is the software doesn’t have facial recognition - something the netatmo did have, but the picture resolution is far better.

Download app from store. Just make sure you get the official app from TP-Link (search for TP-Link rather than just Tapo). Easy to set up (watch a youtube video) first. Very easy to operate and the picture quality is very good. Motion detection notifications can be a pain but voice notification is easily turned off. All in all - I recommend.

The Tapo C210 is a great indoor security camera with clear 2K image quality and smooth pan and tilt movement. The setup is simple, the app is easy to use, and the night vision works well. A reliable camera for keeping an eye on your home, pets, or family.

This is a great item, which exceeded my expectations. I didn’t fully read the specs before buying - I already have some Tapo products which work well, and this seemed cheap for an indoor camera so I just ordered it, as I only wanted something to check in on the puppy with when we were out. This is set up in our hallway, where the dog mainly sits waiting while we’re out. As with other Tapo products, setup was a doddle, and it uses the same Tapo app as the lightbulbs. Alexa detected and added it automatically. The picture quality is great, even in night mode, and it zooms in well. Sound quality is good. I don’t use the recording function so I can’t comment on that, but I see you can pay for a cloud recording service or use an SD card to record. The camera has a ‘follow’ function, so when it detects motion it will twist to follow the dog, which works well, and it then returns to the original position. An unexpected benefit is the smart action options in the app which enable you to trigger various actions in other Tapo products. I’ve set this up as a motion sensor light switch. If it detects motion after midnight and between sunrise, it will turn on a Tapo lightbulb in the living room for a set amount of time (I’ve set it to five minutes). This is handy if we have to get up to let the dog out (which we do via the patio doors in the living room) - walking through the hallway after midnight turns on the living room light for five minutes. Considering the price, I think this is an excellent product.

This was a complete and pleasant surprise. I know that TAPO produces quality products, but this camera exceed all expectations - especially in price and functionality. It was easy to set up (took about 5 minutes), integrated well with my other TAPO products and is operated through the app. The camera is "steerable", which allows a scan of the area under surveillance. Images are crystal clear. I have set mine up to use an SD Memory card for recording and this works very well. The response time is excellent - once movement is detected and the app opened up, access to the camera view is instantaneous. I have a well known brand of cameras to cover other areas, but the response time is nothing like as rapid. I am now considering replacing then with TAPO cameras. And the price? Amazing value for money. The only downside, and this is a minor criticism, is the sound quality - there tends to be some background noise. But that does not detract from the overall utility of this product. I would recommend it. It is versatile and well made, can be mounted or just stood on a flat surface. Instantly provides added security - and links securely to a home WiFi network

I highly recommend this camera, the most affordable but has very good quality. It keeps on falling when I move it and still has no scratches and I have been using it for months, never had any issue. I like it because as a highly anxious first time mom, I can watch my daughter even if I am far especially if I will return to work in months time I want to see my baby and make sure she is safe. I can also easily see my baby even in the dark, I can hear her well for any movement, I can communicate to my husband anytime right away using the Tapo camera. I installed it really quick and the account is really secured as it needs your email and password, I can also access it with different mobiles for me and my husband. The camera looks posh and made of durable material not cheap plastic. Even in poor lighting I can clearly watch my baby, when I am busy in the kitchen and the bedroom is dark it doesn't disturb her sleep.

Die TP-Link Tapo C210 hat meine Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Die Einrichtung über die Tapo-App war in wenigen Minuten erledigt und die Kamera ließ sich sofort mit meinem WLAN verbinden. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und alle wichtigen Funktionen sind übersichtlich erreichbar. Die 3-MP-Auflösung liefert ein scharfes und detailreiches Bild – sowohl tagsüber als auch bei Nacht. Besonders die Schwenk- und Neigefunktion ist sehr praktisch, da sich nahezu der gesamte Raum bequem über die App überwachen lässt. Die Nachtsicht funktioniert zuverlässig und liefert auch bei völliger Dunkelheit noch ein klares Bild. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Möglichkeit, Aufnahmen lokal auf einer microSD-Karte zu speichern. So ist kein Cloud-Abonnement notwendig, wenn man seine Aufnahmen lieber direkt auf der Kamera sichern möchte. Auch die Zwei-Wege-Audiofunktion funktioniert einwandfrei und eignet sich beispielsweise, um mit Personen im Raum zu sprechen oder Haustiere zu beruhigen. Ich nutze die Kamera zur Live-Überwachung und die Bildübertragung läuft stabil und flüssig. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Insgesamt bietet die Tapo C210 viele Funktionen, eine sehr gute Bildqualität und eine einfache Bedienung zu einem fairen Preis. Wer eine zuverlässige WLAN-Überwachungskamera sucht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ho acquistato questa video camera su consiglio diretto di un'amica che la aveva già a casa sua. La telecamera è di semplice utilizzo, va collegata alla rete elettrica e tramite app dedicata connessa al wifi. Dall'app si può verificare la connessione, si possono aggiungere altre telecamere (cosa che farò al più presto), si può zoommare e ruotare l'inquadratura. La telecamera può essere appoggiata ovunque e persino essere fissata al muro sia in posizione orizzontale che capovolta. Unico, unicissimo neo, arriva con la presa inglese (come mostro in foto) ma problema sormontabile con un semplice adattatore che costa non più di 1 euro.
