I highly recommend these Spode Christmas dishes. The design is timeless and the colors are vibrant. Each piece has a nice weight to it and feels very well made. I've been wanting a set of Christmas dishes and these are so beautiful. I just wished the coffee mugs were larger because I like 10 ounce cups of coffee in the morning. I'm going to be purchasing more pieces of this pattern to make my holiday festive.

Took a chance and ordered a Used-Good set. Um, they clearly don’t spend time assessing what was returned so I benefited on this one! The only box that was opened were the dinner plates. They still had the UPC code on the bottom they did not look like they were used. There are a few imperfections on the glazing of the plates around the very outer edge. There are little bumps so they’re not perfectly glazed. But for the one time a year that I’m going to use these plates this was a great deal! They’re not making any more of the tartan so I wanted to grab this set while available. The soup bowls are a generous size. I grew up with this pattern, and my mom has an entire collection. Dishwasher safe, held up well for many many years. My brother has an event space and has acquired a collection of these plates, bowls, etc. from people who no longer want them and will take my mom’s when she passes which I know sounds morbid, but it’s all good. I just wanted a little something. I also work for an auction company and know what’s selling and what’s not so for what I paid, I got a good deal!
