You should charge any batter up for 1 hr,to wake it up. Who knows how long the battery has been sitting there. I've worked in the car trade for over 30 yrs,i always do this & i always charge my battery for 2 hrs every year before xmas,so it's max ready for the dark nites ahead.

This is for car batteries,solar batteries need to be different,google some answers and it'll explain in detail. There's 2 types of batteries for a solar panel system. You need a much bigger battery than this anyway.

You can if you can modify the car to fit this size battery. I have done this in the past and the car lasts a lot longer.
