7 year old son loves it, I think it's okay but expensive!
I gave this five stars because my son loves it. He keeps it by his bedside and uses it as a second night light. In the dark the light gives a nice glow on the wall. The light stays on for 3 minutes max when it is on the brightest level (it has three levels of brightness). It can be a bit random, sometimes it stays on for 15 seconds and sometime 3 minutes no matter how many times I tap it.I feel it is expensive but as my son is obsessed with minecraft and absolutely loved this I did not mind this getting it for him.I did read all the reviews before buying and knew pretty much what to expect, thanks reviewers :-)

stunning little lamp for Minecraft fans
Excellent little product. It is quite small but nonetheless, powerful. My 11 year old is a Minecraft nut so this really went down well. A lovely blue light shines through and makes this perfect for a bedroom. Sturdy plastic so no need to worry bout the light breaking or getting damaged.Arrived in a few days - with free delivery so I am very pleased with my purchase.

Good for toy not for lamp
The item is great for a minecraft fan but it is very small and not too bright so itβs more of a toy than an actual lamp. It fits in his hand for him to run around with. Cool toy. But over priced.

It's minecraft he loves it!
My son loves this because it's minecraft! It's a small plastic box with blue led lights that shine patterns in the dark. Tap it to turn on, go bright or dim then off. It's not very big about 4 inches cubed but quirky and he lives it π

Waste of money for broken item
I bought this in September for my son's birthday in November. I gave it to him on Friday 13th Nov, it worked for one day and now doesn't work any more. I went to the order on my Amazon account to return it to find the last date I could return it was 1st October. I couldn't have opened it earlier to try it because the box was well sealed and would have looked tampered with and besides, it worked for the first few times it was on and now doesn't so it's clearly faulty. I am not happy I spent so much money on absolutely nothing and my son is extremely disappointed. The fact I can't return a defective item is appalling and makes me realise it's not worth using Amazon for gifts because if I had bought this from a shop in town I could just go in an return it.

I couldnt recommend this to anyone.
It's not a bad size , about the size of a Rubik cube, it's supposed to have 3 light settings, ours has only 2, when u tap it the first and second time, the light doesn't get any brighter and the 3rd tap makes it the brightest !! its only a glow, u couldn't use it to read a book. But as is minecraft my son loves it, however I wouldn't buy it again !! I've given it 3 stars as it is a cool item I just think there wasn't enough thought gone I to it, could have been soo much better !!

It is small (see the photo with it in the childs hand) but is a really nice addition to a mine craft fans bedroom
My one son already has the red one and I brought the blue one for my other son. It is small (see the photo with it in the childs hand) but is a really nice addition to a mine craft fans bedroom. You tap the top to turn it on and up and off and it works great. Pleased.

Quite disappointed in these
Quite disappointed in these. I bought this one and the red one but the problem is they are very fussy. Touch activated devices should activate on touch. Unfortunately you have to touch, rub, slap, juggle and sometimes punch these in order for them to turn on and then do it all over again to go through the different light levels. The kids loved them however, but as the person that paid good money for these I feel like I've been ripped off. I reckon I could have build better ones myself with some cheap electronics from Maplin. When they do work the emit a nice glow that varies between 3 levels. They go off after 5 minutes of inactivity. These would be much better value if they operated with a switch instead of touch. They are also considerably smaller than you expect from the images. Each fits in the palm of your hand. I have small hands.
