Great air-filter for a great price.
I recently went to my mechanic for a service and was told that my air filter needs to be changed soon but didn't have a filter in stock. Turns out it was a blessing in disguise, I found this great k&n filter on amazon for same or lesser price than what I would pay for any other and it is a lifetime replacement product!! And i installed it myself (very easy). Have seen some improvement in power (very minor but noticeable) but no improvement in mileage as of now. I'm happy with this.

Had mine for 9 years without problems
Figured I’d finally write a review for this thing. Bought this in 2013 for my 2012 Civic. It was $36 dollars at the time. I see it’s over $50 now. Car still runs great in 2022 with 188k miles on it. It’s a little bit annoying to clean the filter and wait for it to dry before reinstalling. So I guess it saved a little money over the long run. Paper filters would have cost me roughly $250 over 9 years. It’s a minor long term investment. No problems with the MAF sensor. No noticeable performance or gas mileage differences.Car has never needed any repair other than basic maintenance (fluids, filters, belts, hoses, etc).

Worth it
Hard to beat K&N. (I've used AFE too) K&N definitely opens up stock true CAI's, and donors prove it.

There is definitely a fuel economy increase with these filters but one of the best things about this filter is it's filtration
I've been using K & N air filters in my auto's for many years. It started when I drove motorcycles and expanded into my trucks and cars. There is definitely a fuel economy increase with these filters but one of the best things about this filter is it's filtration. Nothing but pure air gets thru to my engine, that's important!!! And another benifit is you never have to buy another paper filter. You just pull this one out, wash it, re-oil it and put it back in and you are done. I'm sold on K & N filters!!!

Great Air Filter
Bought this for my 2012 Honda Civic because I was tired of going through air filters like crazy (I drive a lot). There is a slight increase in response from the throttle and a small increase in gas mileage but it's definitely noticeable. It does require special cleaning materials but they have a site for that if you want to purchase their stuff or use your own. I love it and I think it's a great buy if you want a reusable filters.

literally stuck a shipping label on the product itself, no shipping box???
PROS:-Great product, fits my 2014 Honda Civic perfectly. So easy to install, done in less than 2 minutes (1 minute of that was cleaning out the dead leaves around the car)-It is reusable and eco friendly, if that's your thing.-Don't need to replace it every 3-6 months. $$$ savings add up!-I can see my average MPG going up ever so slightly, but I've only had it for two weeks so time will tell.CONS:-A little pricier than your run of the mill $10 filter replacement. At the time of purchase this was around $45.-You will need a lubricating kit to clean it which you will need to buy separately.-They literally slapped a shipping label on the box and shipped it, did not package it or anything. WTF??? This seller is Amazon.com by the way, not a third-party seller. Also it came damaged when I received it, the box was wide open. I had to contact Amazon to get a replacement which was a huge headache.
