Excellent quality pen! Sadly my mum died recently- when registering her death the Registrar had one of these pens, which wrote beautifully. I love a good writer- some pens just make your handwriting better somehow and this is one of them! I asked her about it and knew I had to get one. I’m normally a fountain pen fan, but this is perhaps even better. The inks write smoothly and glide effortlessly on the paper. The retractable action is quite cool- had never seen it before. Obviously there are cheaper alternatives and the refills are fairly expensive, but you are paying for quality. Love mine! She had the blue one, and the coating had worn a bit so I went for the silver one as probably less likely to wear off.

Unusual and attractive design. An easy to hold pen without my fingers slipping down the barrel when writing. As for writing? I find the Cross rollerball refill to be far and away the best of any I have tried. Silky smooth writing, gliding across the page of every type of paper I 've tried, without any skipping or inconsistency of flow. If a Cross refill fits any other pen I buy, I immediately pop one in. Highly recommended.

Always wanted one of these I was gunning for the blue one or the X star wars ones but they're a tad expensive. It came with a pre installed black in refill that has a wax nib on the tip to protect and stop any leaking in transit or while in box which brings me to packaging,mine came in a nice box with an outer card sleave. To open/close the pen is so nice and thought out well, you pull/push the barrel apart. It clicks closed and has a clip on the side. The gel ink is excellent and writes really well. It feels nice and comfortable to hold and is a nice size when open or closed. I do a lot of writing daily for my job and wanted to treat myself,im not disappointed I'm glad I did. I've taken delivery of 2 replacement gel ink refills a black and purple one. I would recommend this as thd price is very good too.

Very lightweight, and quite short in length, but comfortable to write with. A quality pen for sure.

Great quality pen, this is my third one! The other two were acquired by my daughter and a friend and are still in use. Solid to the feel and writes effortlessly. This is my everyday carry pen, it won’t let you down! 10/10 for a pen!

Let me state right now. I love pens! I love quality craftsmanship and I spend a lot of my day writing with a pen, in the old fashion way. I grew up with my dad being a calligrapher and so soon appreciated quality mechanisms and a smooth nib. I own many great brands from Mont Blanc to Cross, but have to say, this is a lovely pen to use. The smooth shape and design makes it easy to securely fit in a pocket. Just slide it open for the nib to reveal itself. Then the quality of Cross's refills allow you to write with the roller-ball mechanism so smoothly. The ink is dark and remains sharp even after months on a page. The thickness of the pen is just right with a gradual taper that sits comfortably between thumb and forefinger without any strain, however long you are writing for. I have been so impressed with this pen, particularly at this price point, that I have bought several for friends presents.

This pen is so nice. I treated myself to a slightly more expensive pen than usual and I’m so pleased that I did as I love this pen. I looks really great and the way it opens is really cool. No lid to loose the clip is sturdy and doesn't move as I normally end up bending these and breaking them off. The black coating doesn’t chip or scratch and I’ve been using it for months now and it still looks great. It’s also lovely to write with. I’ve also replaced the ink cartridges recently and that was also easy to do.

Der Cross Edge Rollerball ist ein wirklich schönes Schreibgerät, das durch seine dickere Form besser in der Hand liegt als die meisten anderen Stifte. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der innovative Ausfahrmechanismus: Man zieht an der oberen Hälfte des Stiftes, damit die Mine herauskommt, und drückt sie wieder zurück, um sie einzufahren. Dieses ungewöhnliche System ist nicht nur praktisch, sondern macht auch Spaß. Die Tinte ist dokumentenecht, und durch die Gelmine ist das Schreiben mit weniger Druck leichter und angenehmer. Die Qualität überzeugt auf ganzer Linie, und es macht Spaß, ihn zu benutzen. Ich habe mittlerweile fünf dieser Stifte gekauft, und alle Familienmitglieder, die einen bekommen haben, nutzen sie sehr gerne. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Blaue und schwarze Minen sind problemlos erhältlich, aber die angeblich verfügbaren roten und lila Minen sind leider nirgends lieferbar. Fazit: Dieser Stift ist definitiv die volle Punktzahl wert. Er ist nicht nur ein Hingucker, sondern auch ein sehr funktionales und hochwertiges Schreibgerät, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann.

Nice Pen. I bought a few roller ball ink cartridge for some old Cross Pens I had and discovered that they didn't fit the old pens so I bought a new one. It's a good looking pen. One thing you should be aware of is that although it looks like a "Click open, Write, cliclk closed" pen, that's not how it works. When it's closed you grab the top and bottom and pretend that you are pulling the cap off a two piece pen. That exposes the nib. Then when you are done writing. you press the top to close.
