First impressions are this is a great value screen for the cost, and relatively easy to install (it's 2.4m wide so it's a two man job, but only 10-12kg so not too heavy). Despite not having tensioned edges it hangs flat, and the black edges are very clear (by the time I'd got the zoom of the projector sorted out of course...) Like many other people have mentioned, it does smell... very strongly! It isn't a 'bad' smell as such; it's like fresh paint, but it does benefit from 'airing out' prior to use, as well as background ventilation during the first viewings. Luckily we were able to leave it extended for a couple of days prior to our first movie night which helped to dissipate the smell, which was only possible due to the quick delivery; as it arrived two days before the expected delivery date. It is a shame the 16:9 screens are more expensive than the similar size 4:3 variants but I've still given it 5 stars based on overall value. I'm also glad we opted for the EPS (electric) version rather than the MPS (manual pull-down) as it is very satisfying to see the Living Room convert to an almost dedicated Cinema Room as the screen slowly (but not too slowly!) lowers itself into position. This was intended to be a 'cheap' entry-level foray into Home Cinema, but the screen could easily pass for a more expensive version costing five times as much. Highly recommended product from a self-confessed movie aficionado. ******EDIT****** Well the smell has now all but disappeared, after about two weeks. We left it extended (with the windows and patio doors open) as much as possible, and this has certainly helped to air the room out. I'd suggest it is worth buying the remote control at the same time (I didn't!) as the manual control and power cable only connects one side of the projector mounting (the right hand side as I face the front of the screen) which didn't suit our Living Room layout very well, and having to duck under the screen once it's extended spoils the experience somewhat! If I could increase the rating to six stars I would. Still very happy with it!

Did not expect to get such a quality electric screen for such little outlay. Bought as house move enabled a bigger screen from what I had before. Previously a pull-down 2metre wide screen that cost three times as much 15 years ago and so much heavier than this! This screen is great in a 5 X 4 metre room with approximately 50cm left each side between walls and screen edge. Scale wise with how close you sit about 4metres from screen, the size of the perceived screen is very similar to being in a large quality cinema, even when you’re at the back. Liked that the brackets are built into the ends of the casing. Allowing for both ceiling or wall fixture with just one screw at each end. Also nice and light as said , so fitting was much easier and no worries about being too heavy and needing over the top fixings. Definitely purchase the remote for a pro cinema experience. Even though it’s an optional extra it’s still very cheap/competitively priced. Light in weight but not in quality, would definitely buy again

I purchased this screen for use with my Panasonic 3d projector. I am quite pleased with it although it is very light and the quality of the actual screen is not as good as the more expensive Brand names (but they cost a lot more)! I have not purchased a remote control as the supplied control is fine for my use. The electric motor drive seems to work well. However the screen is relatively heavy to fit and you will need an extra pair of hands for this task. The fitting instructions are very basic and you will need some expertise to attach it to the wall or ceiling . The bolts that they supply to attach it to the ceiling (as I have) are not the best. I purchased some heavy duty ceiling support bolts from B and Q which have done the job and were much easier to fit than the supplied ones. If you do fit it to your ceiling, make sure that it is strong enough to take the weight. I would recommend this screen as a reasonably good substitute for the more expensive brand screens (which can cost upwards of £600). Update I have since purchased a much more expensive Tab Tensioned Grandview screen (£1200)! The Duronic is very good for the price and is ok for watching most modern movies as movies these days tend to be quite dark . However, my own HD videos are much lighter which does show up the fact that the Duronic screen does not lie as flat as I would like. My wife does not seem to notice this but I am more particular. I still think the screen is very good value for money, but it is very light in weight and therefore will not hang as flat as a more expensive heavier screen.

Just received this and installed it, few things worth noting - it does smell pretty grim at first, well worth removing from the box and airing as soon as you get it, then also leave the screen down for awhile as that also carries a smell almost like paint drying for a few days before it settles down. The screen itself is good quality, image doesnt go through the screen and can't be seen from the rear. The motorised setting does allow you to stop and start lowering the screen as much as needed - doesnt just open all the way out and close. Cable to the plug is of a decent length maybe 1.5m - 2m and haven't purchased the remote control option yet but seriously considering it once I get using the screen more and then I can decide if I really need it as the button control with it is fine for now in fairness - not like you need to lower and raise the screen every 5 minutes. Mounting brackets at either end of the screen allow mounting to a wall or to ceiling, no screws etc came with this so you will need to source those yourself, ceiling mount main hole is around 5mm and has 2 smaller holes either side. All in all a good piece of kit, excellent value for money at £99.

This is a great motorized screen. Installation was easy (two screws to mount it; plug it in and you're good to go). The motor is quiet, although it's pretty slow - however, it starts and stops automatically so you don't have to wait with your hand on the up/down switch. Screen itself is good - I haven't compared the brightness from the same projector with different screens, but it seems bright enough for me. One thing you might need to know, though. Because of where I put the screen, I wanted it to stop (on the way down) a couple of inches short of its full extent. I figured there had to be a way to change the stop position, and took the whole thing apart to see how (there are no instructions with it!). Then I realized that there are two adjusters accessible without dismantling the thing! If you look into the slot (where the screen unwinds from) to the extreme right of the screen itself, there are two adjusters (one grey, one red) hidden inside the canopy. You can adjust these with an allen key (or even a screwdriver at a pinch) to fine-tune the points at which the motor stops when extending and retracting the screen. Be careful when adjusting the "up-stop" point, though, or the motor will try to pull the bottom rod of the screen into the housing, which would be bad. Screen now stops where I want it, just short of its pre-set maximum travel.

I bought this to upgrade a fabric projector screen and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the screen itself. It's easy to install. This is a good quality screen. When it’s up its taught and seems like a good quality surface to project onto. Picture from projector looks good on it. Very easy to put and and put down. it's quite a big screen,so,best to make sure of the measurements.all in all,a good buy & price. anyway, when i order this screen it keep remind me that it doesnt come with the remote, so i bought the remote control together, just a little bit help not much different. i think you can buy the screen first and decide whether to buy or not to buy。

First thing! If I take the installation of the screen into account, I could have given the screen only three stars. the screen weighs more than five kilograms. Clearly the installation was going to be difficult but i was determined to do it by hook or by crook. One of the hooks was to screw two locating spacers to the ceiling to position the screen tube. Luckily my ceiling was strong enough to mount the screen and remote control receiver onto two wooden pads fixed by 4 coarse screws each into the plasterboard. One of the crooks was to use various tall, cabinets and a car jack to support the screen so the bolts and nuts in the mounting pads could fix the screen in the holes provided. It was all more than worth it for the excellent experience of using the screen with the remote control.

So this is a right pain to install, I got the 3M one, the largest, its quite heavy so I installed secondary struts to strut my main ceiling struts, and then screwed it into that with coach bolts. Also if installing by yourself you will need to raise the other end using rope/chain and a temporary hook as its impossible to screw one end to the ceiling while other is on the floor. When installed you may find your self wondering where the A and B drop adjusters are, they are literally inside the unit and you can only access with the screen partially extended. You will be given a green tool which you can use to access these. At first I could not set my desired length, nothing seemed to happen when i turned the screw. After almost giving up i discovered that you need to extend it full length, then turn the screw, it will then raise and drop as you adjust. Also no remote included but you can buy one here separately. Now installed its a great piece of kit and very reasonably priced.

Rapidité d expédition . Le produit correspond parfaitement à nos attentes. Adaptateur prise française fourni . Très bon rapport qualité prix . Toile bien tendue. Le seul petit bémol serait peut être le cable d'alimentation qu'il n'est pas possible de camoufler mais bon ;) je pense que nous achèterons par la suite la télécommande sans fil qui n'est pas incluse dans le kit .

Diese Leinwand gehört zu den kostengünstigen Varianten die man auf Amazon finden kann. Ich war zunächst sehr skeptisch, da es ja doch große Preisunterschiede gibt. Umso mehr bin ich jetzt positiv überrascht. Die Montage an die Wand war einfach und das Zubehör dafür war auch in der Verpackung vorhanden. Die angegebenen Maße passen und bis jetzt haben wir keine Wellen erhalten. Die Fernbedienung ist ein zusätzliches Plus, da der Bildschirm gut aufgerollt werden kann. Man kann die Leinwand per Fernbedienung perfekt steuern und anhalten wie man möchte. Der chemische Geruch ist am Anfang vorhanden, war aber nach ein paar Tagen im offenen Zustand verschwunden. Qualitativ ist nichts an dieser Leinwand auszusetzen! Fazit: Schnelle Lieferung Gut verpackt Macht einen qualitativen Eindruck, die Leinwand wirkt solide Gute Bildqualität, keine Wellen, keine unschönen Reflektionen Verständliche Anleitung Montagezubehör Sehr guter Preis!

Werkt goed, er was wel een steun beschadigd, maar heeft functioneren niet beïnvloed. Makkelijk op te hangen en te centreren. icm SureWheel beamer, leuke combinatie, er zou ook nog een afstandsbediening te koop zijn, maar kan deze niet op Amazon vinden, verder zoeken dus....

Buena resolucion. Una buena pantalla con un blanco exquisito que aumenta la calidad de la emision. Muy Recomendable. Merece la pena comprarla

La pantalla al ser tan grande y no ser de las tensadas no es totalmente lisa pero no afecta mucho al visionado a menos que seas muy maniático además añadiendo un poco de peso en la barra de abajo, casi casi queda pecfecta. Para el precio tiene muy buenos acabados y el mecanismo de subida y bajada funciona muy bien. Noto bastante mejoría en comparación con haberlo proyectado en una pared lisa blanca (mejora el brillo). Por último añadir que la primera pantalla que me vino estaba en malas condiciones y si que presentaba muchos desperfectos para el visionado, pero me puse en contacto con el vendedor y no puso ninguna pega para el reemplazo, con un trato muy agradable. En resumen , pese a las molestias, muy contento con todo (la imagen corresponde con la primera que tenía defectos y no era tan lisa como la definitiva, en la que me llegó después se ve mejor aún).
