Have the tissues ready
Item arrived ahead of delivery date which was no problem as it was posted through letterbox. The dvd is brand new still in cellophane packaging. The film itself? If you are a dog lover as I am have tissues ready for certain parts of the film. In all though a lovely ending to a lovely story

A brilliant family film.
I really enjoyed the film, and so did my children who watched it with me. It is more than just an animal film, it covers many issues as well as exploring how important animals are to the generic family unit. Emotional at times but uplifting overall.

What a wonderful film, I absolutely loved it
What a wonderful film, I absolutely loved it. This is such a good story clearly written by someone who loves dogs. You see the story of the dog from being a puppy and the life it leads with its new owner All the things the dog encounters from the sights, sounds, smells and also things you would expect your own dog to think and say if it could talk to you (the dogs are all voiced by Josh Gad) ............ When the dog dies, it then reincarnates and the process starts all over again but with another owner The dog also remembers some things from its previous lives. Some parts made me cry, others laugh and there are awwww moments too. This is one of those films that I will not get fed up of watching, and know I will be still watching it in years to come!!

A film you MUST see
WHAT A FILM. I watched this in the cinema when it was first released and the tears just wouldn't stop. For anyone who has ever had a dog as a companion, you will understand why we have the term "man's best friend". This film will definitely go down as a classic, despite it being criticised by the media prior to release (claims that were proven to be false) - it still came out on top. This film was produced to support and highlight the importance of animal adoption. For any dog fan, or even any soppy movie fan, buy this. Its on the same level as the film Marley and Me.

love this story!
I love this story after losing my dog who had been my companion and helper for 15 years I was waiting ages for this DVD to come out. I don't know if its an accurate representation of what happens when a dog reincarnates (eg do they always find themselves in another body straight away? My Animal Communicator has been telling me my dog is still in spirit since 2016?) but I laughed at that part where Bailey comes back as a German Shepherd Female and realises his 'bits' are missing and loved the end and the realisation on Ethan's face that 'Buddy' is Bailey. I'm hoping my girl comes back to me one day, if she did go to someone else straight away (march 2016) and we meet again in this life while I still remember her!

This story has so many similarities with a book by paul auster which came before that it made me cringe while i was watching it. The book by paul auster is called Timbuktu and this movie also based on an original (?) book is a strange thing to look at without a feeling of deja vu. But other than that i actually loved this movie. Great story, characters and despite the deja vu its still a fantastic reencarnation story. Totally recommended as its actually better than it seems.

What a wonderful movie......for everybody. Even the cat. If you're a dog person you'll love this movie. I can't say too much about it without giving away some of the plot. It's a little like looking at a dogs life, or lives, from a dogs point of view. It's happy and sad and joyful.......and that's all I'm going to say, except don't forget the tissues !
