PURAGEIR Thermostatic Bath Tap, Deck Mount Shower Tap with Anti-Scald Control, Chrome Bathtub Mount

The install was very simple and easy to replace the existing mixer bathtap that was installed. I've had it for a couple of weeks and now and honestly I don't know how I got by without a thermostatic tap. No more scalding and drastic temperature changes. Definitely glad I purchased this.Only downsides are since it's chrome and directly under the shower head there's always water spots after a shower especially if you don't wipe it down after a shower. The switch to shower head sometimes lets a little bit of water through to the shower head when you've switched it to tap mode and can catch you out with a little rain above your head. To me these are minor negatives compared to the product on the whole I've enjoyed using it these past few weeks only time will tell whether it stands the test of time.

Fitted this on a conventional boiler supply and changed a hand shower riser for a rainfall+hand riser. The showers flow is fine but the bath flow was unusable (15 mins for 4-5 inches).Learned that most of the thermostatic taps are designed for high pressure systems and could not see any low pressure thermos for less than 200. Was seriously thinking about the bodge of fitting a non-thermo on the short side of the bath.Had a think about why the shower flow was much better than the bath and removed the spout to find a plastic insert with very small slotted inlets and a mesh outlet. Replaced the spout without the insert and although still slower than the old waterfall tap, the flow has probably trebled. Colour me relieved.

Works great, great value for it. Bought a rainfall shower separately to go with this as it was cheaper separately. No issues with the item installation, it was just the house caused a few issues during the installation. Temperature control and pressure works well

Not good working

These taps are well worth buying, they look so much better than the budget taps in DIY stores. For the price its an absolute bargain. Smooth action of all the controls and the thermostatic function works great. The chrome effect is really thick and has a "quality" feel. Had it for a few months now and no issues.

Was great until thermostat failed, now only getting luke warm water through. Having to replace whole set as i cannot find a replacement thermostatic valve to fit.

Bought this and had it installed...no problems and all working fine. Very pleased with purchase and product. A few months later the lever to switch between shower and bath stopped working. I contacted the seller to ask if there was a warranty. The seller replied very quickly and did not hesitate to remedy my situation by sending a replacement. I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend this product and this seller.

Thermostat broke after a while but Customer Service sorted it all out for me. No problem.
