Working very well, I have used one of the to extend the power cable to my car pressure washer. Nice and easy to used and so far no problems with any water splashing on it.

Great little connector that's very easy to use for anyone

A little fiddly but a brilliant fix for household electrical items where you have accidentally cut through a cable. For example electric hedgecutters or lawnmowers. Very neat and really good value for money. A good wirestripper would also be useful in this situation. The live (brown) wire slot and the neutral wire ( blue) neutral are marked with an L and N respectively but these could be made bolder in my opinion as they are quite difficult to locate. Other than that a great little fix and easily screws together. A massive improvement on trying to cobble together a fix with insulation tape in my opinion.

Good value for money Used to connect a flood light to a longer cable, definitely waterproof, sited on a very sunny wall and is still in good condition. Would recommend.

Ideal for connecting electrical items outside. Easy to wire, secure fitting on different cable thicknesses and waterproof for outdoors. Thin compact design, looks nest and tidy in use, only a screwdriver and pliers needed, if you can fit a plug you can fit these. Simple. Good value and will buy again if needed.

Really pleased with these. Smaller than I expected which is good. Buying them has allowed me to use odd bits of cable I had rather than buying a new length. Easy to join and seem to be well sealed when screwed together. Have ordered two more !

I used one of these connectors to repair a damaged cable on an outdoor fish pond air pump. The cable is 6.6 mm in diameter, well within the specified range for this device. The repair was quick and seemingly successful. The connector was not submerged but lay between an outside junction box and the pump. Initially, all was well. We have had plenty of rain and the cable became wet as expected. However, power started tripping to the point it could not be reset. I immediately suspected the air pump and removed it from service. No more tripping. On further investigation, I found that the area around one of the screws inside the connector was covered in rust. It had clearly got very wet! I have used similar devices in the past and fully submerged without a problem. If you are using a larger diameter cable, this might work better for you. However, I cannot give it an unequivocal thumbs up.
