BE AWARE
The product description of the item received is 'Omron Basic Temp Eco' ... NOT 'Omron MC-246 (MC246) 60 Second Digital Rigid Thermometer' as advertised. I queried this with the seller, they responded quickly and informed me that it is the same model number, and that Amazon are responsible for the images ??? What they did not explain is why they are selling this 'Basic' item at over DOUBLE the price of some other sellers on Amazon today. I won't be bothered returning it for a refund for this price range - but you should judge for yourselves whether you think this is good trading practice.

Excellent buy it instead of the Daffodil one
Great thermometer. Works well, good instructions, nice protective case to carry it about. Cheaper than the daffodil one which is rubbish.
