good product, reasonably priced and good sealetn

Good UPVc door and window sealant. Good for repairs. Great value for money. Only dropped one star as it wasn't quite the colour I expected but it can be painted over if required.

I purchased this Everbuild external frame sealant for use in an old stone barn with wooden window frames. The wooden frame had warped over the summer months and the autumn rain was making its way inside a gap and running down the inside of the building. Not good! But within a few minutes this sealant was applied and then, after curing (it was left completely dry for about 10 hours), the leak was fixed. The sealant was easy to apply using a little water and a steady finger, which achieved a nice finish. The grey colour is what I'd call a battleship grey. It looks nice and matches the stone wall of my outbuilding well. Like most things following the recent cost of living crisis the price was higher than expected, but it was fairly priced compared to high street stores near me and buying in multiples brought the price down a bit too.

Done the job I needed easy to use good price very happy.

Doesn't seem to adhere the best. The colour is as described and doesn't smell as strong as others can. Would encourage people to spend abit more and buy better sealant.

Worked well at filling out conservatory gaps. Much easier than silicone as it washed off your hands with water!

I think another review mentioned it, only after the fact did I spot the small print on the bottle. This is both internal and external frame sealant, however internal and external for wood/metal, internal for uPVC. I'm just a DIYer so didn't spot this until I'd used the tube. hopefully not going to cause any major issues (I'll have to google) and simply just deteriorates faster or something. That said, I used it just before a tonne of rain was on the way and my fitter hadn't sealed perfectly around the sides. Since using, not a single bit of ingress (yet!!) after many wet days. Good quality, easy to tool, cheap.
