MEALtime Vanilla Flavour Shake 300g

I was looking for a nutritious meal-replacement suppliment because my energy levels were low due to numerous food allergies; this ticked all the boxes: low fat, dairy, wheat, sugar, and gluten free, and it tastes great too! I have been using this product in combination with Hemp Protein Powder PURE - 500g tub for a week now and I am feeling so much better, my energy levels are up and, although I am ingesting calories more than before, my weight is down (an added bonus). I would happily recommend this products to anyone wanting to improve their excersice levels, lose weight or simple have the satisfaction of excellent nutrition.

I became lactose intolerant about 5 months ago due to gastric illness. Never having a need for protein shakes i've never tried one,. My exercise regime has changed and i wanted to add something to my diet during the day. I decided to give this a go. I did read the reviews, but decided to give it a try. I can stomach a lot of things and lot strong and random tastes. I followed the instructions and this is just terrible. You can smell the vanilla immediately, sadly it doesn't have any of that in the taste. I couldn't finish it and gagged after 3 quarters of it. I would compare the taste to chalk and cement dust. I'm going to try and finish the tub due to the money i've paid for it, but with the size hopefully it shouldn't take too long. I'll update if i find a way to improve it with sweeteners or something.

Great base product for a diary free shake. Mix with almond milk, a good teaspoon of coffee or cocoa plus some low cal sweetener and a banana and it's really nice. I also add a spoon of vital gluten wheat powder to increase the protein and thicken it up. I can understand the reviews saying it's not very nice by itself but you do get used to it. You must use a high speed blender (stick blender is best) for about a minute or so to get a smooth more palatable texture, otherwise it is a bit grainy.

It tastes really powdery and like its full of sweeteners. doesn't matter how much fruit you add to try to change the texture or taste it just doesn't mix well at all and, It seems to curdle and not mix well with almond milk ( DF alternatives )

This product is great! The packaging design could be slightly better but the product is delicious and satisfying, really fills me up for hours! Due to low calorie content, it can be easily mixed with (frozen) fruit, yoghurt, along or coconut milk for extra flavour. Definitely will purchase again.

This stuff is excellent, it makes a very satisfying (and tasty) smoothie that is all I need for lunch. It took me ages to find one that was lactose free. I would definitely recommend it. I was pleased with supplier too as it arrived very quickly.
