Rolson 11201 8oz Stubby Claw Hammer

This hammer would have been ideal for the little jobs and close quarters use. But within only a week the head detached and fell off.

It arrived looking brand new (because of the layers of packaging around it) but after unboxing it, a lot of scuff marks are visible - someone has used this and returned it & Amazon are selling it without informing customers that it’s in a used condition.I would return it but i have no time. I strongly believe I deserve a refund, as well as the many people that purchased this hammer, as the product came used.You have disappointed me Amazon… at least offer refunds without the need to return the item as it’s an error on your behalf.Nonetheless it’s a hammer at the end of the day, just used by someone else.

I hadn’t seen the reviews properly as this was bought as part of a gift last minute to construct a trellis for a memorial rose. As with many other customers, mine arrived in extremely well-used condition. There are hammering marks to the head, deep scratches to the nail holder and no tags or packaging. How are so many of these used tools ending up for sale as brand new, and then passing quality control? Nothing wrong with the hammer but not keen on holding something that’s been in a sweaty palm during the current climate…………

To heavy cannot hold it or use it

My review is based on initial impression as I haven't used this yet, but overall it feels a good weight and looks well made. A very comfortable grip for my small ladies hands, but still with a good sized hammer head. I'm not sure how well the magnetic nail holder will work as the tiny round magnet stands out a bit.There is no magnetic patch on the top of the hammer, only the one to use when tapping a nail into position for hammering. You slot the nail into the magnetic grove and make one tap to get it started, then use the hammer head to drive it in. This is supposed to make it easier to get it straight (?!?) Overall I like it and it fits nicely in my tool case. Be prepared to get laughed at when using this tool, until male family members feel the weight of it ;)

Really good for its price. Very sturdy and very durable. Used to have one but since moving house I lost it but we had it for years without any problem and continued to stay the same quality wise as it was brand new. I highly recommend.

Everything was good about it, except the appearance, it look worn out and used already. Seemed like a nail was stuck in it too. Still did a good job though.

Would be more suited to a child

Les artisans me l'envie et me demande les références.Ce marteau "coup de poing" est très polyvalent et pratique.La répartition de la masse entre manche et marteau est parfaite.Le manche court permet de l'utliser dans des endroits exigus mais pas que.je l'utilise toujours car manche ergonomique, précision de frappe et efficacité redoutableBonus: prend moins de place dans une trousse/boite à outils.Mon épouse en est fan d'où l'achat d'un second exemplaire.
