Did not cause any pain in my arm, which is a good thing.
Initially, I felt like a caveman holding a huge bone, but after a few hours with it, I grew to like it. Unlike using the traditional mouse, where I rotate my wrist for hours, this did not cause any pain in my arm. It's nice; it took me a while to adjust, but it feels good and comfortable. Well, that's my 2 cents

Really helpful for my shoulder and much more comfortable to use
I bought this ergonomic mouse because my shoulder and arm had been playing up with RSI and a bit of frozen shoulder, and it has made a noticeable difference. The vertical shape feels strange for the first day or two, but once you get used to it your hand and arm feel far more relaxed. The buttons are responsive, the movement is smooth and the DPI settings are easy to switch depending on what you are doing. It connects instantly and the wireless range is strong enough that I can sit comfortably without feeling hunched over the desk. The shape encourages you to keep your wrist straight and your shoulder more relaxed which has eased a lot of the tension I was getting with a normal mouse. It is also lightweight and fits nicely in the hand without feeling bulky. If you are dealing with discomfort from long hours at the computer, this is well worth trying. It has helped me a great deal and I am very pleased with it.

Really good ergonomic mouse overall - scroll wheel let's it down though
This is a really good ergonomic mouse overall, comfortable for all day use, light as well. I've been using it as my main mouse for over a year now, and it has definitely helped reduce the write pain that I was experiencing with a standard mouse. As you'd expect from Anker, the build quality is really good and I've had no connectivity issues at all. However, I do have a couple of negatives. Firstly, the battery life isn't fantastic, and you get no warning, so it just stops working, and then you have to replace the batteries - no recharging. Secondly, the scroll wheel feels so heavy and clunky - I find that I use my middle finger mostly due to the way my hand fits around the mouse, which took some getting used to but I liked it, but the scroll wheel seems to be getting harder to move, which is making me shop around for a different mouse now.

Brilliant
I purchased this mouse to use on my company laptop. I have had to use an Ergo mouse for a few years now after in excess of 20 years in the IT industry using a standard mouse took it's toll and started to cause incredible RSI pain in my hand and forearm. The mouse I was issued by my company was wired and it had three mouse buttons, It was a very frustrating item to use often the cable would catch on something on my desk and pull the mouse away just enough to cause pressure on the third button whihc could result in a closed window, lost email and it was driving me mad. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a mouse to use at work and the Anker product stood out on Amazon with good reviews. I liked the fact it only had 2 buttons and it was similar in shape to the wired mouse I was using so would not feel awkward or alien to use. The item came next day and was packaged in a very nice presentation box (something I have experienced with other Anker products I have purchased in the past. I received last Thursday, installed 2 x AAA batteries and set it up. It's really comfortable and I love the freedom of movement without the annoyance of the wired connection my old mouse had. The mouse pointer speed was a bit high but after some adjustment it is now perfect for me. The build quality is very good as you would expect from Anker, though the dongle doesn't clip into the base of the mouse, it just pushed in, I am not sure how it is held into position and I am not sure how well it would be gripped in there while in transit so I will probably leave it plugged into the USB port on my laptop. It's really comfortable to grip and move and I like the soft touch feel of the surface. Yet to learn how long the batteries will last as I have only used it for a dy and half so far but I guess if I remember to turn it off at the end of the day the batteries should last a long time. So all in all I'm impressed with this mouse, it's not massively expensive and has a very good look and feel to it.

Like a Dream
Bought this mouse back in June 2015. I'm a graphic design student in third year at university now. Back then I was going into second year and suffered from RSI somewhat which would make designing difficult for me. In May of this year (2016), I bought a new Macbook and when I transitioned the mouse over from my Windows to Mac, it started displaying some issues which I thought were to do with compatibility, so I bought a new mouse. Slowly but surely I recognised that this was due to the fact that after using it day in day out for almost a year (10 hours+ some days), that the scroll had started not to work and the back and forward buttons were just because of the OS. Now, I'm at a point with my new mouse (Logitech MX Master) and it just doesn't match up whatever to this so I'm going to buy a new one of the Anker. The problem with my new mouse is that it's heavy, laggy, and has a broken scroll wheel after two-three months. Not ideal for using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and so on. But with this, it's like a dream. I picked up my old Anker a few minutes ago and plugged it into this Mac and loved how it matched up, for a fraction of the price. It's lightweight so it's easy to move and doesn't strain your wrist. It's simplistic and does what it says on the box. And I think the most important thing here is that with so much usage, it has held out a very long time - almost a year. I didn't find that it drained that much battery life either (unless you leave it switched on day and night when not using). I honestly don't know why I invested more in what was supposed to be a superior mouse because it was garbage for me. This is a dream and would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone doing long periods of work on the computer, or even just as a casual user. I think it pretty much echoes how I feel about it when I actually look forward to designing because of the mouse, because at the moment I'm steering away from doing intricate stuff with the MX Master's lagginess and other such problems. All in all for the price, and what you get out of it, I couldn't recommend it more.

Definitely worth it
Have used this for 3 weeks now, works amazing. I’m a young lad starting an office job, and just wanted something comfortable to use for 8 hours, so much better. Never have any issues with hands and wrist. Definitely recommend.

A slightly unimpressive effort from Anker
UPDATE: My original modification, which tried to maintain the svelte look of the mouse, was not a complete success. So I figured I'd go for it and go for comfort rather than aesthetics. The result is much more comfortable, but not as appealing. However the mouse if now very comfortable to use and the more I use it, the more I like it. Even my son likes it now. I was going to uprate the mouse to 4* on the basis of my new satisfaction with it, but the fact remains, as supplied by Anker, this mouse isn't as ergonomic as it should be. Original review: I've been computing since the 80's and using a mouse daily since the mid 90's, so it's not a complete surprise I'm getting a little RSI in my old age. So I thought I'd try this ergonomic mouse, to see if that would help. I'm a big fan of Anker products, so I bought this ergonomic mouse with a little more confidence and a little less vigilance than usual when making a purchase. Unfortunately, there are a few things I don't like about this mouse. Firstly, while it has a lovely soft-feel finish, in use it's too slippery to get a decent hold on and my thumb slides down onto the mouse mat. To stop this, I have to grip the mouse, which means I have to tense my hand, which means before long, using the mouse becomes uncomfortable. To resolve this issue, I modified the mouse with my hot glue gun, forming a ridge for my thumb to rest on (see pics), and that improved it for me. Another thing I don't like, is that the battery cover broke upon first use, which was a bit of a pain, though it didn't effect its operation at all, and the cover stays in place okay. It just looks broken. Grumbles aside, the mouse slides over my mouse-mat very nicely indeed, and is very light. I think a grippier coating would improve the mouse, but my glue-gun mod has been a cheap and simple mod to solve the problem of my thumb sliding off the mouse. The buttons all work well, as does the wheel, and there's DPI adjustment and next/previous buttons too. I'm happy enough with my modified mouse, without being over the moon with it. Before I modified it, I didn't much like it. My wife has smaller hands than me, and she liked the mouse before my mod, but my son didn't like it before and doesn't like it after. So ultimately, this is a mouse may or may not suit you. My opinion of the mouse is an ambiguous shrug: I don't recommend it, but I wouldn't want to talk you out of getting one, either.

Confortable and easy to setup!
Fantastic Ergonomic Design – A Game-Changer for Wrist Pain Relief I recently purchased this mouse, and it has made a world of difference in my daily comfort and productivity. If you’re dealing with wrist pain from traditional mice, this product is a must-have! Ergonomics at its Best: The vertical design is incredibly intuitive, providing a natural hand position that drastically reduces strain. It took me no time at all to adjust to the new grip, and I immediately noticed how much better my wrist felt after extended use. Unlike conventional flat mice, the vertical structure keeps my hand in a handshake position, which is much more comfortable and ergonomic. Easy to Set Up and Use: The setup is as simple as it gets. Just pop in two AAA batteries (which aren’t included) and plug in the wireless USB receiver. There’s no need to fuss with drivers or complicated software – it’s truly plug-and-play, making it perfect for users who want hassle-free installation. Improves Comfort & Reduces Pain: Before switching to this mouse, I was experiencing significant wrist discomfort, but after just a short time with the Anker ergonomic mouse, I’ve noticed a significant improvement. The thoughtful design encourages better posture and reduces the strain that traditional mice tend to cause. In Summary: The mouse is a fantastic solution for anyone looking to alleviate wrist pain and improve their overall comfort during computer use. It’s easy to set up, has a solid ergonomic design, and is perfect for both work and leisure. Highly recommended!

Ergonomico, consigliato!

My 2nd purchase
Got my second Anker Ergonomic mouse to use in the office. The mouse is easy to get use to and fit well in my hand. It did help release some tension in my shoulder. Price is affordable too.
