I love this stuff - it makes the perfect Oden!

Very good taste. Not hot or spicy. Great to make liquid for ramen or for a soup base.

I've been using this oden broth mix for many years now. It's my secret ingredient for broths and pasta. Cooking potatoes in it before mashing then takes them to another level. It also seasons your fried rice perfectly.

The ingredients show that it is basically a salty powder, similar to soy but with additional layers of umami. Jazz it up with additonal flavors if need be, or enjoy it on its own. I like to have it on hand for simple addition to some udon noodles, or even fried rice. I dont get the flavor experience I want when I just want some mostly plain Udon noodles. This gives it the taste I am looking for. Sometimes I add a little toasted sesame oil and some broccoli. For less than $3, it is a worthwhile addition to my giant spice pantry

This oden taste amazing! Because they are soup power, you can basically change the amount of water to make more or less salty.

This seasoning/soup mix taste just like soy sauce without the dark color.I would not recommend this product.
