Really good but please note...
Used this paint to completely renovate all four alloy wheels. Really good product. Goes on nicely and despite being in smaller cans than some other brands, specifically Autotek, it actually has more paint in the can! HOWEVER, please note that if you’re doing the whole wheel you will NOT have enough paint. I had to get more paint urgently to finish. The lacquer only just managed to coat the wheel fronts with a couple of coats. Slightly oddly the paint is satin but the lacquer is gloss, giving you a finish that’s absolutely not a glass-like gloss finish that you might expect, but it’s a bit shinier than satin. I actually love the finish and think it looks fantastic but if you are expecting it to be a mirrored finish, you may be disappointed. I’ll wait and see how robust and tough it is, but I’d recommend it at this stage.

First time using anything like this product and brilliant to use
Bought this product to do a lockdown do it yourself wheel refurb on a set of wheels on our lexus. I was so impressed with the results. I had never done anything like this before and came out spot on. 6 months on and the paint is still intact and lacquer hasn't peeled and look great on the car.

Good results if you have the time and patience
My son used these to paint his wheels - no kidding - he said it took a lot of preparation to the wheels before he could start to paint them plus a long time between coats but the results are very good - shame he dropped one when fitting it back on and knocked some of the paint off and had to do a repair so it took even longer.

Way cheaper than buying x4 new rims!
I have only just finished it all in one day so no comment on durability yet. I managed it in one day because I had already pre sanded the face of the wheel another day as I was waiting for 4 axle stands to arrive.I did all the layers of paint in one day by using a hairdryer inbetween coats to speed up the process. I found the black paint was far more than enough although I may have gone too thin.I did 1 whole can on the back/inside of all tires (had 1/8 can left for touchup.1 whole can for the face which I did numerous coats 5 minimum.I still have one can of black left and two cans with very little in them. For the clear coat I did 2 layers on the back of all rims and 3 layers for the front and still have about 1/4 can left.I am an amateur with spraypaint and some of it was thicker than other parts so if your very good it should be enough paint.Warm up cans in some lukewarm water or hairdryer.also I did not use a primer, only sanded the existing clearcoat and silver paint.I had to put the wheels on asap (long story) about 30 mins after I finished the last coat. I took the car for a spin about an hour later and one tiny piece like half a size of rice came off. (maybe a stone chip as I did not curb the car). hopefully this is because it hasn't dryed the recommended 12 hours yet and not because i did not use a primer.will update and have pictures. (I also restored the rim with some epoxy and sanded it down).Update: Coming up to half a year now and it's pretty good. (curbed it once or twice...first year of driving!) which was alot less painful than if I'd bought rims. The paint has held pretty well, apart from the areas around the bolts as I changed tires etc. some minor marks like 1cm (probably from stones) but as I said easy to touchup.

Stone chips
After 4 coats of primer, I sprayed my motorcycle wheels with the 3 cans, about 7 coats, light to start then heavy until I emptied the cans. I think the alloys look good. I haven't sprayed the lacquer as I'm going for the dull look.First ride and I have lots of stone chip out of the paint!.. Maybe I did something wrong but now need to go through the whole process of taking wheels of and paint again

Terrible product
Used this on my alloy wheels as per manufacturer's instructions. Over the coming days it had nearly all peeled of. Seller refused a refund.

Spot on once again
Have reviewed befor.Still think this is a great product and very simple to use. I see alot of people taping tyres which is slow and painful just a tip take it or leave it. Get yourself some playing cards or cut up a cerial box and put between rim and alloy works a treat and saves loads of time. And add rimblades to stop them kerbing again.I did mine a few months back never done them befor in my life now I do around 3 cars a month
