very astringent taste
Unfortunatelly I only red the description of the product given, but didn't pay atention whats writen on the images of the packiging. I was looking for Japanese sencha that always have a plesant and soft taste. This sencha is so astringent, I cant drink it without pulling a face. What a waste. However the first impression when I opened the tea looked like the best quality. (that is before trying)

Does not taste like Sencha at all.

MISLEADING! THIS IS NOT SENCHA!
I am very familiar with both Chinese and Japanese green tea and I am extremely unhappy at the fact that this tea is branded as "sencha" when it is definitely not. Sencha only strictly refers to Japanese green tea which tastes sweet and the tea should look slightly yellow. This is just an ordinary Chinese green tea and it tastes nothing like the real deal!!!!! AVOID!!

Nothing like :(
Appreciating this is Chinese in origin (as opposed to Japanese), I expected to see the same needle like leaves and like-for-like taste. NOT so. It's just your average green tea. Bit like calling something an Eccles cake, then departing from the essential characteristics in terms of look, taste, presentation. Frankly not worth the money. Pay a bit more and you will instantly see and taste the difference, and not a subtle one at that. Lost a lifelong customer.

VERY poor quality : Not worth buying. n. AVOID !!!!
Poor quality. Not worth buying. ZERO STARS I have bought at least 6-7 type of Japanese teas varying in price from the cost of this item to tens times the cost. This is low grade tea, large leaves, strange smell and after taste. Woody. It is Not 1st or 2nd grade and I tried to brew it three different ways but had to trow away. Cancelled my bi-monthly subscription. AVOID !!!!

Rubbish
I really wanted to love this but it's not very good. It tastes worse than the supermarket green tea bags I use at work. I've tried at different temperatures and different steep times but nothing works, and is the first time I have ever thrown away unused green tea. Sometimes you get what you pay for...

Don’t waste your money.
Hands down, I will not purchase this brand again. The tea lacks colour and more importantly flavour. What flavour it does have is not even close to what constitutes a decent cup of tea. I purchased 2 bags, tried to return the 2nd bag (which was not allowed), but am now going to use both bags in the compost heap in the back garden.

If you like your green tea brown...
They call it green Sencha tea, but it's a brown infusion and very dull to taste. Not the qualities I was hoping for!
