Door Handle Spring Repair Kit (six 2.5-Turn, 2.5mm Thick coils Plus six circlips)

-Really satisfied. Our door handles had been droping for months. I dismantled and tried to repair but not successful. I went on the Web an d hunted for replacement springs. I found just what I wanted. They were delivered early the next morning. Fitting the new springs was so easy and we now have horizontal door handles again. I also have a couple of spares ready for when the next ones go. Really delighted.

Now all the doors work properly. You just need the right tool and it takes about 5 mins to change the spring.

Bought to repair broken springs on handles easy for DIY enthusiast if you have circlip pliers pain if not . Arrived on time and seemed better quality than original springs ( changed tab washers when doing repairs ) would buy again if they last more than a year like the original's.

Getting fed up of replacing door handles once the spring goes. Saw a video on YouTube how to replace the spring, seemed easy enough. Purchased these after finding them via an internet search, arrived quickly.Easy enough to do, the only difficult part was the placing of the clip. You certainly a need specialist pair of pliers (which I didn't have) I used careful brute force. Also make sure you get the right size spring diameter and width.So I would recommend using this product and very happy with result.

TG I found these items because I'm going nuts shelling out on locksmiths...After reading the clear instructions on this company's website about how to replace a door spring, I then bought the proper 'external circlip pliers' and got to work.Because the spring had broken, hence the need to repair it, when I took the handle off the door, I didn't get to see how it was meant to be configured? I still took a mobile photo of the inside of the handle then anyway.Basically you work out the quarter turn the handle needs to do and put the spring in round the right way. It can only be fitted one of 2 ways. Then you place the lower (inside) hook inside the door handle, where it engages with the sides.Then you push the handle down, as you would normally use the door handle, then hook the top part round the stopper. To hold the tight spring in place (lots of tension needed) you then push on the thing that looks like its got 2 ears. (I think I might make a video about all this?)Fitting the circlip was the easiest part, but only after I saw a couple of videos on YouTube. Basically you push the special pliers into the tiny holes, then you press the pliers together to open the clip (approx 3mm) so it can then fit round the handle. Once its pushed down enough, check it will stay in place by putting the pliers again into the tiny holes, and this time move it round a bit, in either direction, keeping it flat, to see if any part is still not flatly inside the housing. You can push that side down with a large screw driver.

Yes, perfect! The product is spot-on, exactly as described. I've thrown away so many handles because the return springs had failed - I'd never seen any replacements before finding this supplier, which brings me to the second part of this review.I'm so impressed with Northern DIY - their site is full of useful advice, set out extremely carefully and clearly. Not many sellers take so much trouble and I really appreciate it - plus, anyone who's willing to do this is going to be a good guy!So, I'm recommending both the product and the retailer A+++++

Bought these to replace the snapped springs in my door handles. These are a perfect fit and seem to be stronger than originals which is reassuring. 6 pack means I’ve got a couple of spares which is worth the money.

Can be tricky to fit but works as it is designed to do. Fitment is OK, the awkward part is the circlip which requires the proper tool.I have given 4 stars because it has not been in use long enough to evaluate longevity.It is manufactured with enough beef to make it sturdy and at this time I think the package is good value.

Not the right product totally different shape... I was out of town but now I’m out $23. Doesn’t work for Emtek!
