It's very heavy as some have stated, and yes, does get hot, but not too hot.
The product is great and does the job very well.It's heavy and get hot, but this is expected with this type of bulb.Performance, well I fired it up in the garden, and after the hum had finished and was at full strength, all the gutters on the neighborhood stood out.Hmm.... maybe 400watts will be too much for me.Great product
