Vision Vol. 2: Little Better Than A Beast

After watching Westworld I was really high on the idea of artificial people trying to navigate the human world and struggling with their developing consciousness. This book is great, and I'm sure in light of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Vision is selling books right now, but I can't help but feel this would have been a better story without it taking place in the Marvel Universe. It's great sci-fi-fi in its own right.

Can't recommend this enough. Weird, creepy and moving commentary on the American family starring the Vision?! Art is stunning. Best Marvel book of the last 10 years in my opinion.

The best marvel graphic novel since punisher max. This comic is dark, gritty, complex and imaginative. I'm glad ultron gave us the vision to see such beauty.

Second Volume wrapped up nicely, but slightly concerned if in continuity or not. Treat as a standalone Marvel book

Esse segundo encadernado do Visão, fecha a série mensal planejada para 12 edições. Tom King é um fenômeno, o autor é ex-agente da CIA, e começou notadamente a escrever HQs em 2014, lançando Grayson e Omega Men no fim do ano. Hoje em dia, além dessas séries é o escritor do título mensal do Batman. Em visão, o autor explora magistralmente e com uso de ótimas metáforas, a condição humana de um ser não-humano. Reparem, Visão é um sintezóide (androide) que deseja ter um família e viver normalmente. Após as avalanches de acontecimentos no primeiro volume, toda a teia de mentiras que Visão e sua família vão criando vem à tona, com interferência dos vingadores e principalmente de Victor de la mancha, irmão de visão e ex-runaway. Mas real questão aqui, aonde o autor acerta, é na capacidade de humanizar Visão, na capacidade de mostrar como ele é falho em muitas situações, como um ser humano seria, que ele não é uma máquina, ele sempre foi, mesmo sem saber, mais humano que muitos de nós. O final é ótimo, toda trama é fechada e com um twist muito bem feito. Se você leu o volume 1, obviamente o volume 2 é indispensável. Se você não leu nenhum, está perdendo a melhor HQ de 2016 ( de acordo com a IGN, Comic Book Resources, e outras fontes) e uma das melhores da história da Marvel.

Tras regresar de la cancelación, Vision nos entregó uno de los mejores finales de serie que Marvel ha tenido en un buen rato. Quizá esta es la mejor serie de Marvel desde Hawkeye de Fraction.

As someone who was never interested in Vision as a character this comic book series has really changed my mind. The story focuses on how Vision has decided to live a life of suburbia and has built a family to help him live the dream, but it's a lot harder fitting in than he thinks. Likes: - Great story and good at keeping the audience engaged - Characters you care about (Virgina, Viv and Vin are all interesting and unique) - The art/colours work with the setting and story Dislikes: - The use of one of the side characters was disappointing. Especially because I enjoyed that character in another series. It's only 2 volumes (12 issues total) so I really recommend this to anyone who just wants a short read. You also don't need that much background info as most info is presented in the story itself.
