Great price and does what is supposed to do But definitely room For Some Improvement........................
I purchased this to replace an old dash cam that broke, and I was looking for a new one that displayed the video in the mirror. When I found this one also came with a rear view camera it seemed like a no-brainer to me and it was also on promotion (20% discount) . I liked the integrated dash cam behind the mirror, as it takes up less space on your windshield, and also won't fall off like the suction cup style dash cam I had previously. The rear camera was actually a lot easier to install than I thought. It was the first time I ever did an install like this, and it took me less than 2 hours total from start to finish, but at least 30 minutes of that was trying to get the plastic plate off of my trunk so I could access the wiring. Once that was done, the rest was pretty easy. I have an SUV and the length of cable for the rear camera was more than sufficient. I had about 5 feet leftover when I was done.I wasn't crazy about the idea of drilling holes in my car, so instead I attached the camera to my license plate frame with a couple of zip ties and double sided tape. This way I can reposition it if I need to, or move it to a different car without worrying about leaving holes. I ran the wire behind one of the little lights near the license plate. I noticed you do have to angle the camera down quite a bit, otherwise the lines that appear on the screen when you put it in reverse look like they are pointing up into the air.The mirror itself looks really nice, and actually doesn't look big at all in an Car.I purchased a 7 inch and i think it look abit big size for my car. In daylight its perfectly fine, and at night its just a little dimmer than usual; similar to how it would look if you flip the little switch under your factory mirror to dim it when there are bright lights behind you. The usb cable they provided was plenty long enough for me to route the cable around the windshield, by the passenger side door, behind the glove compartment and into the center console where my usb ports are.Only reason i didnt give it a 5 star is that it kinds of looses the actual colour and tint blue which could be annoying for some of us.When all is said and done, it looks really nice and is a great deal for what you pay for it. I got this on a lightning deal for about £70, but even full price its worth it. I'm sure there are better products out there, but for the price this can't be bea

A good dash cam
This is a good quality dash cam and combined rear camera. The front camera features a wide angle lens. The camera records in 1080P features a loop function that means that is records over the oldest recording when the micro SD card becomes full. The camera clips over the rear view mirror rather than attaching to the windscreen. The unit then doubles up as a rear view mirror and a screen for the cameras. The rear camera has to be wired to the front camera and you can then toggle between the displays. In the box you get:The Dash CamThe rear cameraA 16GB TF cardA cigarette lighter chargerThe user manualThe camera functions well. In daylight the video quality is excellent, far better than you need for insurance purposes. At night the quality is good, but again probably better than you need for insurance purposes. The camera comes on automatically comes on when the car starts and video is automatically protected is the sensor detects a crash. Should you ever have an accident that was not your fault I am sure that the video this device captures would be invaluable for the insurance company. The camera requires a TF to work and a 16GB card is provided with the camera. The unit can handle up to a 32GB card but I have been using the 16GB card provided with no issues at all.Any downsides, the unit does not have a significant internal battery and must be powered at all times. Also connecting the rear camera requires a fair bit of wiring and it is difficult in my car to then hide these wires.

HD rearview mirror dash cam
This mirror is quite large so would only suite larger windscreen vehicles, mine is a rover 75.Only gripe would be front facing camera could do with having led infared lights for nighttime view, works fine in lit areas.7 inch screen that can be viewed as part of the mirror is amazing, you can focus out a little and see behind you in the mirror or focus on the camera view and see in front or behind if in reverse gear. Please do connect the rear camera black and red wire to your reversing light for automatic camera.on in rear view mode when you reverse.Comes complete with micro sd card so its plug into cigarette lighter, attach to your standard fitted rearview mirror and away you go, the rear camera has well enough cable to go from rear of my car boot to the dash board with cable to spareThis is £79 very well spent, the mirror itself is a blue tint that helps when inconsiderate motorists blind you from behind with their main beam headlights.I did not get any incentives to wright this review, so take it from me its very good value for your moneyUpdate..I have had to.replace the supplied micro sd card it came with as it has packed up....new card fitted and camera up and running again

Decent Video Capture (during the day), Poor Battery
The video capture is good for use during the day, however at night it isn't so great. The Auto record feature is useful and the included 16GB micro SD card stores the footage fine - the playback, on a PC, for example, is also good. However, the battery doesn't work; the 12V charger has to be permanently plugged in. The 'help guide' English is terrible and incomprehensible. The English on the actual camera display, i.e. menus and alerts are poor.

Poor
Extremely disappointed i could got same quality for 40 pounds feels cheap and is the rear cam quality is poor despite 7 inch screen with the parking lines on screen which can not be calibrated are more of distraction than help. Maybe if you have a mpv or vehicle with a very sqaure rear end it maybe a better apart screen size which is usless to my vehicle its hard too find positive about this product.
