can I use this to connect my Samsung TV to my router?

There are question that you must answer first to get the answer you seek. 1: is the tv an smart tv or android tv? If yes then next question. If no then it will not work! 2: does your tv have an existing Ethernet port on the back? If yes then you do not need this adapter just plug Ethernet direct in to tv. If no then this will not work! 3: what are you trying to do. If you are trying to turn your tv into a smart tv then you need to attach to a tv recording box or android box or amazon fire stick. Then you might want to use this adaptor! But only with a fire stick! Decision made simple!
