A superb toy for Special Needs Children
I bought this toy for my soon 15 year old boy who has a severe developmental delays among other problems. I thought he might throw it on the floor as it might be too ''babyish'' for him, but no, he loves it. He has memorised most of the buttons, and he slides the little button on he side to which activity he wants (very good for fine motor skills). He mainly likes the music bit, but he also gets to the ''Fun facts'' or the ''Super Sounds''. He had it now for the last 3 months and has not been bored with it yet, which says something about the number of activities on the apple.It is also a durable, quality toy that will weather countless throws and bumps (on a carpet). The only negative point, if negative it is, is that it can be a bit loud, so, I have covered the speaker with some tape. You have two settings for the sound, loud and normal but my son always like it loud.I highly recommend it. Pricey but worth it. A toddler will spend many happy hours with this toy.

Vtech Apple
This is an excellent product. The bright colours give it instant appeal lots of games and lights and music. My 18 moth old granddaughter loves it . It is light and sturdy for her to carry around and has withstood the odd drop or two. I would recommend it as being a good learning tool.

Excellent and really liked by children between 2 and 4
I highly recommend this product. My grand child uses it every day. It is the best educational toy I have come across for children between 2 and 4. There are plenty of tunes and games. The sound is excellent. It is easy to use and carry around. Fairly strong, can stand most of the common shocks when used by small children.Highly recommended.

It has many good features... Along with phonics n letter sounds, it has the game feature which will be good for older kids... A very nice investment...

Brilliant and stimulating toy for babies and toddlers.
Our 3 year old absolutely loves this. He especially loves the alphabet challenge. This toy keeps him occupied for ages. It lights up too!

Misleading picture !
I purchased this thinking that i was so lucky to find the old version for my child who is 13 and is special needs and disabled and loves the songs and the lights on it for sensory.Unfortunately we are on number 5/6 alphabet apple due to being unwell at times ,but noticed that the worm is now purple when it used to be green and its eyes used to light up and you was able to slide it to the right for the glow worm song. The picture needs to be updated as it was misleading. Overwise i would of given it 5 stars.

Great fun and educational
Wanted something that was educational and that could be played with for my granddaughter. She loves it as she can carry it around quite easily and it is very interactive for her, able to choose which program that she wants to play on, she is 17 months old and loves to play with it.

Letter/Alphabet buttons stopped working
When the phonics desk arrived. It worked fine and everyone was excited. Unfortunately, after almost three weeks of purchase. The device turns on and off. The clock works and the slider works. Unfortunately, alphabet letters do not work anymore. Even if you press the ones that are lighting. So giving a lower number of stars. Otherwise, when it was working fully it was fine and would have give a 5 star
