Large Shabby Chic Vintage Style Wall Clock With Roman Numerals In Antique Cream - 34cm

I was very impressed with the price of this clock compared to similar looking clocks from other stores. The clock itself it obviously a picture that has been put onto a wooden board (don't worry, it's not tacky or feebly done, it's very well done and looks and feels very good). The clock itself is a great product and looks really nice on the wall. The clock mechanism was actually faulty on my product, but I'm sure this was just a one-off. I didn't try out the clock until well after the purchase, so just bought a new clock mechanism from eBay for a few pounds and now have a very nice clock for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

This clock does have quite a loud ticking noise so if that bothers you and you'll be using in a quiet room then possibly not the one for you. It is a bit basic but I guess it's not exactly expensive. From a distance in our conservatory it does look ok. The face is made of mdf I think.

This clock was delivered quickly.When I first saw it I was a little unimpressed as it is just a thin circle of wood with the detail stuck onto it. However, once it was up on the wall I thought it looked really good!I would say it is slightly lighter than pictured (on my screen, at least).Ive has it up on the wall for a couple of months now and it has kept time perfectly.A really nice looking clock at a good price!

Lovely romantic clock....initially, after putting the battery in it, the hands seemed to stop turning after a few hours and I had to keep resetting the time. At first I thought the clock wasn't working. Then I realised the hands kept jamming together when they came into contact! Careful prising apart of the hands sorted the problem and the clock works perfectly. Looks beautiful on my living room wall.

I bought this because it was the right size and because it ticks, but I'm not really a lover of what's known as 'shabby chic', which to me usually means 'looks a bit grubby, like it needs cleaning', but otherwise, its great. Ticking clocks are thin on the ground these days...

It looks fine, I'll find out how accurate it is in a few days.BUT - the hanging hardware (for want of a better word) was firmly screwed in SIDEWAYS.Most people like to have the '12' at the top of the clock, not off to the side... I had to remove it to reorient it, then discovered that although the four screw holes _appeared_ to be set in a square, they weren't, so the existing holes in the back of the clock didn't line up properly with the holes in the hardware. New holes had to be made, which wasn't easy to do, as there is no glass or plastic covering over the clock face.Luckily, I have tools and know how to use them, but the clock should have been properly assembled by the maker.

Had this clock for about 3 weeks.Build quality - The build quality and materials are okay, but you don't really notice these when it is hung on the wall and it looks great.Time keeping - Slightly wary from some reviews about the clock keeping time but have not had any problems and I'm not using a particularly high quality battery.Noise - Tick is quite loud. It is mounted in the kitchen and with the doors open I can hear it at the other side of the (small) house. But, it is not unpleasant or intrusive and reminds me of my Grandma's old carriage clock she used to have...
