Wow, great little radio!
I've only been using this for a couple of days, so can't speak for it's longevity, but except for that I must say I am rather impressed!Lovely size factor, good radio reception, FM is good as expected and on AM BBC 5 Live is great on 909KHz.The sound is surprisingly good, it even has a passive radiator! That said, it could be louder, but it does have a line out (as well as line in!) so it could be hooked up to a bigger speaker.Have not used the microphone yet, but I appreciate it adds to the functional aspect of the device. The li-ion battery lasts a very long time, I have been using it a lot these couple of days and it's only half used. Also these batteries are of the old Nokia type (BL-5C), basically you can find replacements very easily and cheaply if you ever need to.I did not expect much of the mp3 player, but very pleasantly surprised with the controls and there's even a visual equalizer, albeit monochrome of course. What a great little gadget, well worth the ~£20!

Excellent price and excellent clarity.
This is really a great little radio, so portable and the simple recharge with a standard mobile phone lead so no need to buy batteries. Just love the auto digital tuning to finds loads of stations and easy to save them foe recall. Excellent reception and clarity. Also a great price, I highly recommend this super little radio.

Despite some limitations, I love this little radio unit.
Overall, this is a great little radio/recorder/mp3 player for the price.Pros: Really nice deep sound for such a little unit.Recargeable and easily replaceable battery.Quite sturdy body, strong aerial, and stand.Recording from unit, and playback quality, is excellent. Can play music and audio books off a micro sd card. Can record radio programs at the press of a button.Cons: Bit fiddly and the buttons feel a bit clicky. You need to put an sd card in before all the buttons will work (thought the radio wasnt working until I tried this)The radio only stores the frequency so you have to remember what radio station it is. However, you can program and store usingthe buttons so that helps. eg. store radio four on button four. After recording, the unit automatically plays the recording and will repeat endlessly. It could do with a dedicated stop and start button and you should be able to play a recording once and then have it stop, not repeat endlessly. The same happens with the mp3 player - it has 3 repeat modes, but you cannot just play one file and then stop.....it just repeats. It is also hard to find the tracks and files, so it is best to not have too many audio books or files on the sd card at any one time unless you just want to continuous play through all your tracks. On my unit the external microphone doesnt work, but not too much of a problem as the inbuilt microphone is perfectly adequate for my needs.Overall, if you are just wanting a radio, there are better ones out there. But if you would like the added extras of a recorder to record radio programs and your own voice recordings, and you like the idea of an inbuilt mp3 function, then for the price this is a great. The sound is the best I've heard on such a small unit and the rechargeable battery is a great bonus..

Travelling companion, cool looking piece of reto modern tech!
Some things just hit the right spot, and have a timeless charm and uniqueness that you don't find very oftenI Love this radio for what it is - there's no way mainstream manufacturers would make something as quirky as this rather than the usual Bluetooth and smart speakers these days, and it fits a niche very nicely for the right customer. Great for many reasons and applications: camping, holidays working trips, bedside, escaping technology and your phone, private listening, this is Tiny product with a big personality!I love escaping the modern world with this, simply just turn on and tune in.Screen size is very generous, aerial more than good enough. I'm yet to try and card functioning or recording and will probably not so best to look at other reviews for this..butAs for the sound - as an audio and home studio enthusiast I'm really impressed and smile whenever it's taken on holiday or on a trip because it sounds really decent! The bass diaphragm on the rear certainly does not give the radio anything that resembles deepness, bass extension or anything like high quality audio, but if really does and excellent job of filling out the sound and blends well with the front facing speaker to make a very pleasing sound, especially with voice but music is certainly listenable.I find with decent headphones it sounds remarkable on FM.The plastic tag on the Strad allows the unit to be laid at an angle and you can extend the aerial up.Your main audio device or radio this may not be, but as a little travelling companion or bedside radio this will make you smile every time you turn it on - it's like it's pulling a strange kind of trick sounding this great for the size, looking like it's got one foot here and one in the 80's, and all in a smartphone sized package. I'll be buying a spare battery and using more and more

NIGHTMARE PRODUCT.
The only thing good about this radio is it's look. I have spent two day's trying to get ONE channel on this , & only one i did get. on FM it has to be my location ? as I spent days looking at its feedback . I will be returning it. I do not use mp3 player etc, so cannot comment on that . I remember when i was young being able to get hundreds of channels included radio luxembourg , etc very clear. NOw i can just about get one on the whole of AM FM & SW.. Rubbish
