Ive been feeding fish the old fashion way for years since i was young but keep having to buy fish blocks when i go on holiday, With this item its so easy to install and set up just press one button i set it up so every 24hrs it feeds them and the charge lasts very long the best item ive ever bought on amazon

Gave it a test, figured out how much food I wanted coming out with trial runs into a box, then went about fitting it in the tank. Ended up going with the included gel sticker to attach it sideways so it would fit under the hood of my little tank. And as is perhaps inevitable, once I committed to sticking it in, it no longer worked correctly. There seems to be no public troubleshooting, and since I've used the sticker + already binned the box, this probably isn't refundable through amazon. For the sake of reference - the issues were immediately apparent as it would no longer turn on. I tried for a good while, giving it more time with the charger, and generally replicating what I did before attaching it. No luck. The next morning I came back and it turned on again, a true Easter miracle. However it then proceeded to barrel roll for at least 5 full rotations. I gave it another 2 hours of charging time while turned off (at least the power button was now working/doing anything). Then I come back, and with only 2 hours to go before I leave for a long weekend, all I can get it to do is barrel roll spin at least 5 times for every 1 it should be spinning. When I turn it on, the green indicator light is correctly showing on a time, but if I press any of the other times or the manual button it spins several times. When turning it off all 3 indicators flash red. I've ruled out a battery issue with the amount of charging time I've given it, also given that it was working just fine out of the box and on charge for all of 15 minutes. I can only surmise that as soon as I committed to using it the feeder realised it was being given a daily job and it refused to cooperate. It fit great, looks good, and seems like a sturdy design. It was a shame I couldn't simply rotate the barrel and use it upside down as a feeder, but I was able to work with the lack of adjustability. Ultimately, even if it started working now, I wouldn't trust it given it's tendency to spin until I get bored of waiting for it to stop. I'll try a different brand and write this one off as a mistake.

Just what I needed to feed pond fish while on holiday, without being too expensive I copied another Reviewer's idea to cover with a plastic bottle to make it weatherproof and this seems to work a treat.

Great but sadly only lasted 8 months. Returned from holiday and now refuses to charge. Unsure how much food poor little fish received in the 2 weeks we were away!

Worked perfect, fish survived our holiday for me that’s a winner!!! Easy to set up timer works 12 hours/24 hour. Holds a large amount of fish food.

I got this feeder for my betta fish, Snap, and it’s been a lifesaver. It’s easy to set up, reliable, and dispenses food on schedule, so I don’t have to worry if I’m out for the day or away for a weekend. Snap gets his meals on time, and I get peace of mind. The manual feed button is a nice bonus when I want to give him a little extra. It’s quiet, holds a good amount of food, and hasn’t jammed or malfunctioned. Honestly, it might be more consistent than me remembering to feed him. Would definitely recommend!

The setup is simple and allows you to adjust the amount of food and feeding frequency. It runs on a rechargeable battery, which eliminates the need for constant battery charges. The charge lasts a long time. It doesn't release too much food at once, avoiding waste and keeping the water clean. I've tried flakes and pellets, and both work well without clogging. It fits snugly in the tank without the risk of falling out and keeps the food dry.
