Very good fork nice and strong

This is an excellent fork head but I have had to replace the handle twice in the four years I've had it. Buying a new one because it is such a hassle getting the handle off the old one.

A well crafted garden fork, nice wooden handle and shaft, though handle is slightly small, but that could be just my chunky old hands. The head seems well forged, and in use first impressions are good sharp prongs and no sign of weakness. In these things time is the big test, so will update as necessary.

As usual, excellent quality from Spear and Jackson. The tool comes with a warning that it is only for tilling and light garden use. Anything more and heavier equipment is needed (Crowbar). These tools are not for levering bricks and rocks out of your garden. I like the wooden shaft. It is warm to use in the colder months, when we turn the soil. Comfortable in the hand and with care can last a lifetime (Linseed oil loves wood). The part where you place your foot is wide enough not to be uncomfortable and the fork is strong so does not flex. Being stainless steel steel it will last. I coat my tools with light oil to prolong life, even stainless steel can corrode eventually. Great addition to my garden tools.

Feels great in your hand, easy turns over the toughest of soil. Has a great sharpness to it, but not too sharp. Love the stainless steel look. Great addition to the tool shed!

A prong on the fork snapped on the second use. Less than two months old. Had no reply from supplier regarding replacement or refund! Do not recommend!

I love this garden fork! It is sturdy and has a lovely streamlined handle design. Tested it and it works well.
