Good quality heavy duty stapler
Bought this for use in my garage. I've broken several 'normal' paper staplers over the years. These should last ages. They are heavy duty and with several boxes of varying length staples it's a good combination. They have a good grip and seem to go through most materials I've tried including boxes, sack cloth, plastic wrapping etc. I should have bought them years ago. I have a Rapesco nail/staple gun bought many years ago and still works fine. Good brand and good quality, recommended.

Ideal if you need to customise boxes when ebay selling.
Use this every day, I have the pointed end out as I make boxes frequently. Its so easy to push the pointed end into the side of the cardboard and squeeze the trigger and box nicely held together and secure. Saves on tape as well

Our postal tubes can now be easy secured end to end using this stapler, very strong and sturdy that I bought another one . Its perfect for the job and well worth the money .

Over-engineered but unimpressive
I was a bit disappointed with this stapler. It's built like a tank, and everything about it implies heavy duty, but with the supplied 73/10mm staples, it didn't really seem to have the heavy-duty performance to match it's looks and feel.The choice of anvils is useful for blind stapling boxes, and the HD-73 is clearly built to last with a 15-year guarrantee, but whilst it stapled two layers of cardboard neatly, I found the HD-73 struggled to staple three layers of cardboard. I dare say that wouldn't be an issue in normal use, but it was a bit of a let-down. The fact that I had to break a row of staples to load the HD-73 as wouldn't take a whole row bothered me, too. If this is intended for heavy use, it's going to be a pain to have to keep refilling it as the carrier is too short.Despite being really well built, the HD-73 doesn't seem worth the asking price. It somehow manages to be over-engineered but also unimpressive. I'd shop around if I were you.
