Microscope
This was a gift for our Grandson who is 9. He is thrilled with it and looking around for insects to inspect. There are so many things to research with this item, I also bought the book on microscopes to go with it. It’s a very educational gift.

Disappointing
NG Microscope arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. Product was exactly as described.Firstly I got this off Amazon warehouse for less than half the asking price, if I had paid the full amount it would have being returned immediately. For the price I paid I is just about ok. Lens are of very poor quality, body of the microscope flexes and moves when using the focus wheel which makes it very difficult to get anything correctly in focus at lower magnification and impossible at the higher values. general built quality is not up to scratch.At the price I paid I was not too worried about any of this as the kids still got good fun from the microscope but I would be very disappointed if I had paid the full amount (£33). Product is just not fit for purpose and I would suggest people look at other products for their kids first microscope.

Not really practical
The microscope is lightweight and if your child is not meticulous and careful will turn all thing over and drop the sample and everything on the table. Need to be used with adult help/supervision and it is quite hard to focus using the provided samples. Maybe other people had a better experience but it was very annoying to set and I sent it back to the seller and had my money back.

Amazing low cost microscope. Easy to use light weight great magnification Pix show blood cells. Added colored filters to light source enhance view. Adjust diaphragm wheel to create dark field to see specimen like first picture. Next two picture regular bright field. Phone adapter eye cup make it all seamless great product! 640x
