Plastic sides are a little flimsy and will feel like it's going to snap as you twist the Allen key but it is a really handy little tool

Solid perfect for bikes, have one of these in my car all time just in case my lad needs to be picked up, needed a 6mm alan key for front wheel perfect for this, compact and strong

I already own a Stanley fatmax Allen key set but was buying this for a friend. The difference between this and the fatmax is huge. There is no way to lock the keys in place, so they open constantly, would get in the way during use and get snagged up in a tool box. The item feels flimsy in comparison, and would not stand up to regular use. Item returned.

Bought this folding hex key set to finally tackle the dining chair that’s been wobbling like a baby giraffe for six months. The dream? To restore balance, dignity, and the ability to sit without feeling like I’m on a fairground ride. And to be fair… it did the job. Just about. After some gentle persuasion, a few muttered swear words, and the kind of concentration usually reserved for bomb disposal. The set folds neatly, fits nicely in the hand, and makes you feel like a real adult for about three minutes, until you realise these are not “heavy duty” tools. These are lightly committed. The sort of hex keys that would politely excuse themselves if faced with anything tougher than an IKEA screw. They weren’t expensive though, and honestly, they’re exactly what I expected, cheerful little bendy bits of metal that say, “We’ll help you this once, but don’t get cocky.” The chair leg’s fixed (for now), my knuckles are only mildly grazed, and I’ve learned that sometimes in life, “that’ll do” really will do. Verdict: 🪑 Fixed the chair. 🔧 Struggled emotionally through the process. 💪 Not heavy duty — more “moderately helpful on a good day.” 4 stars, because they tried their best, and frankly, so did I.
