how do i check if motion sensor is working correctly? i can connect my wiinote buttons work fine. no motion sensor detection

Have you checked which light is showing as they are for different functions. If number 4 is lit this is for Dolphin Emulator so this has to be on for sensor. I cannot remember the other lights but they can be used for mouse on pc and other things. I have my set up for Dolphin and it worked fine, and once tried to use as mouse and that worked also. One thing I did learn was to try different USB ports if it did not work on one and eventually found the right one. So keep pressing the 2nd button on the right of the bar to toggle between 1 and 4 and test to see what they do.
